I found this little pitstop for a quick bite to eat, it could do with a bit of a facelift and replace the broken tables outside, a quick clean of the tables would not go a miss. Food was ok at reasonable price.

Situated on the Caledonian Canal where it meets Loch Ness in the centre of Fort Augustus this café is ideal. With great food, we had fish and chips which were delicious, and helpful courteous staff who made you feel welcome, you couldn't ask for more. A relaxing atmosphere while watching the boats go through the canal. Ideal if you have... More

After a great day out with Skye Adventures doing some amazing coasteering and rock climbing. My wife, my 3 teenage boys and oneself were starving. We were staying at the great glen water park just outside fort augustus and decided to get some hearty food to replace the energy we had used. WARNING do not go to the first place... More

OK for a snack with a coffee but the standard was not high enough for me to consider a main meal here.

Typical little sit in or take away in a small village with no real competition. Prices are okay, food isn't great but as it is all you can get from here it is sufficient enough. Staff are all friendly but wouldn't go back in a hurry

This is more of a chip shop/take away than a restaurant. We ordered tuna sandwiches for £5.25 each, this consisted of two pieces of untasted white bread, a bit of tuna, some salad on the side, plus a handful of crisps. Disgusting. A Diet Coke was £1.85. Avoid eating here, you will be disappointed. Given it's location I should have... More

We picked up a take away from the Moorings a couple of times while at Fort Augustus. Wide choice of food, ours was freshly cooked so a short wait which was not a problem. Portions were very large, if you have folk with smaller appetites then consider sharing instead of getting too much! The chips were particularly good!

We popped in here one of the days we were out and about. The food is nothing out the ordinary but staff were excellent and helpfull. It is also perfectly positioned if you get a window seat to see the boats coming through the locks or just the tour boat heading out.

This place has a cute appearance and charm but the owner needs to hire a charming young girl who likes to smile, not old men who don't speak English well. The pizza was fresh tasting and priced fairly. If you ask for water to drink specify if you want tap or bottled, otherwise you will pay for bottled. Overall, I... More
