Ice cream was welcomed on a very hot day, unfortunately, the service was poor due to lack of staff at the busiest time of the year, we waited for a good 25 mins to get 6 ice cream cones, hire additional staff to provide a better service or sell up and move on, ££££££

went in for a drink and a cake and were rudely shouted apon for walking into the seating area initially rather than placing our order. Limited selection of drinks, noted there minimum charge too, very unfair.

LUNCHTIME you cannot buy a coffee without paying greatly over the odds, over £7 for a coffee and a biscuit. This is at lunchtime untill 2- 30 .what a rip off.

An indifferent latte, tea and an oat biscuit here cost £6.90 and was definitely not worth it. Asked for soya milk with the tea (carton seen behind counter so they had it) but was ignored by the surly woman serving me. Could not sit by the window as we were only having a drink and not a cooked meal. Avoid!!

Very poor restaurant . We only wanted a light lunch of soup and sandwiches, and we were promptly moved from the table over looking the river to a table near the cash desk. Despite the rest of the tables being empty Soup was passable but sandwich was not fresh made but in a packet. Service very poor. Do not be... More

We used the shop several times and wished now we had discovered the other one sooner. Its location naturally draws you in, when a short walk would give you a better option. It has pretty much everything you need if staying self catering, either boat or apartment. What annoyed me was the fact that 50% of my purchases were not... More

We walked in around 4 o clock for coffee and a cake . The place looked nice to sit outside by the river . As soon as we were served by a non friendly woman ! They closed the cafe behind us and started sweeping up around us . We felt uncomfortable and left quickly . The village was bustling... More

This "cafe" is why people leave Scotland thinking we do awful food. The woman behind the till was sour, stared blankly at customers, and generally had a bad attitude. She was quite prepared to serve us our £3.85 soup without the included bread and seemed annoyed that she had to cut some more bread up when we asked. The worst... More

This is not a restaurant! It is a conservatory built onto the side of a shop. Serves pre-packed sandwiches and soup from soup kettles. Two pre-packed sandwiches, one latte and one cappuchino all for as little as £12.50 service was dull and boring. Food was the same. Extremely over priced. No prices on anything! Witnessed more than one person walk... More
