I'd go back just for the puddings

Had a walk down after a day Nessie hunting. Had a starter (haggis was delicious) and a pudding I had cheesecake - best I've had in a long time, friend had the whiskey & ginger sponge which was also delicious. The main courses we saw being delivered to other tables looked amazing and I will be... read more

My wife and I ate here by chance, and as soon as we walked in and saw the procurrers of our b&b there we knew we chose a good spot. The decor is like a living room with walls lined in many unique and rare bottle s of whiskey. Not sure what to try, ask for help as the owner... More

My primary reason for visiting Fiddler's was the quite awesome selection of whiskies, but I was impressed by the food and the B&B accommodation too. All the staff were wonderful and friendly, but of course the big character (in so many ways) was the notorious Jon Beach and it was great being able to chat with him as well.

If you like a variety of whiskey, you won't be disappointed. Fiddlers is quite a small but very popular place, so booking is recommended. There menu has something for everyone even the little ones. The food is proper comfort food and even offer meal deals which includes a dram and a glass to keep.

We stopped here for lunch on our drive south. We had food in the bar, but I think that there is also a more restaurant type section. The food was excellent bar food, with great haggis, and there was also an awesome selection of malt whiskies, over 400 apparently, which unfortunately we were unable to try because of driving. The... A light dinner of fish chowder, venison pate - both excellent! The place was cheerful and welcoming, close to B&B on the Village Green.

My wife and I went to this Bar/Restaurant for our Anniversary meal on Drumnadrochit on 10 October 2014. We have previously ate here last year and we were please to find that this place had not changed. The staff couldn't be more attentive if they tried and seemed very organised. It was a very friendly and cosy restaurant. I had... More

Starting with the positives, the staff who served us were lovely - despite the food being awful we still left a tip. The whisky and beer menu is quite vast so plenty to choose from. To start with we ordered the grilled goats cheese and roast pepper brushetta. The exterior of the goats cheese was slightly warm but cold in... More
