We dined at FIddlers on three evenings, great chef specials, really good and cheerful service, good beers and the choice of whisky is unbelievable, we highly recommend for eating in Drumnadrochit

Arriving in Drumnadrochit without any prior planning we were unsure where to dine. Thankfully, a local dog-walker pointed us in the direction of Fiddler's Fiddler's boasts an impressive whisky collection and this gives the interior a distinctive and pleasant look. The waitstaff appeared young but were exceptional and service was prompt and friendly. Most importantly, the food was excellent. I... More

The food here and hospitality was great. The burger was so big it was like two meals in one and delicious. I would highly recommend eating here, the service was great and the staff very friendly. Certainly a place to go if you are a whisky fanatic, too many choices to even begin to count. I would strongly suggest calling... More

Had previously visited Beauly in the morning and then went to see Urquhart Castle on the banks of Loch Ness. This was disappointing as the entrance fees were very much overpriced. We stopped in Drumnadrochit for lunch which we had at Fiddlers Restaurant. As the day was fine we managed to sit outside which was very pleasant (the inside was... More

We ate here at lunchtime in the midst of a tour of Loch Ness. The place was heaving outside as the sun was shining and it was hot! We were glad to get into the cooler interior. Great decor with an extraordinary selection of whiskies around the walls and tasting notes provided not by the owners or one or other... More

Excellent service and a beautiful interior, Fiddler's restaurant is a perfect way to enjoy upper-class pub meals together with the finest selection of beers and whiskey's. As a side dish, the garlic bread is an absolute cracker, and don't forget to leave some space for the lovely desserts. The café part of Fiddlers is adjacent, and more modern. It's not... More

We came for a dinner. I had venison haunch steak with outstanding pepper sauce and black pudding. It was the best venison steak I ever had (high quality meat and perfect combination with black pud and the sauce!!!). My wife really enjoyed excellent goats cheese bruschetta. Desserts are all homemade and we had fabulous chocolate-almond tart and whisky-mac pudding witch... More
