What a wonderful evening we had with my parents and sister. We were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The staff were brilliant, the food was superb, and the whole evening a great success. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Visited again with family and can't fault anything. The food was superb, the service was first class and the restaurant so welcoming. I was facing the bar and watched the young lady serving inspect every glass before she prepared a drink, now that is dedication to good service.

We finally got round to using a voucher we had been given as a Christmas present and booked the Superior room for our dinner, bed and breakfast stay. The room was very large and a dance could have been held in the bathroom. Despite the room being on a corner overlooking the main road, noise was minimal. Pre-dinner drinks in... More

Often disappointed by the "cocktails" in many bars I was pleasantly surprised when I got a good Manhattan before an even better dinner. Went here to celebrate a birthday, stayed over and had a wonderful breakfast too. I would take a look at the coffee though which at the time I felt let them down relative to everything else. Would... A Scottish summer evening at its best - that is, the sun was shining long and bright. So, pleasant drinks al fresco on the patio in the lovely garden at the rear of this old coaching inn on the corner of Muthill's main street. Dinner was inside the somewhat darker room that is pleasantly furnished with reminders of the area's... More

Food was good, but this place has really tried to attract the "foodie" types. Found it a wee bit pretentious. Next time I'll just keep driving to Gleneagles, new relaxed there!!

We spent one night at Barley Bree restaurant with rooms to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The accolades of other reviewers are not misplaced: Barley Bree is well up with the best restaurants we have ever been to – well on a par with Michelin stared establishments. The building is a very attractively maintained age-old coaching inn. The staff are friendly... More

Been there several times. Much more than you expect from outer (and maybe even from inside) view. Very good food, fresh and delicious, good beer and wine choice, good service. A place to be!

If you like fantastic food in a relaxed informal restaurant, I would urge you to visit. The Dexter steak was one of the best I have ever eaten. All good.

One of our favourite restaurants - lovely relaxed surroundings, fabulous food with Fabrice's Gaelic twist. Whether lunch or dinner we have always had a splendid meal - tarte tatin worth the visit alone.
