Our favorite resturant in the area

This was a return visit for us, on a subsequent holiday in the area, and it didn't disappoint. A lovely setting, feel you have been invited into someone's home. you need to book for this restaurant is always full. The car park is not easy so you need to be able to manouevre! the service is excellent and the food is very good. I had a 28 day Rump Steak which was delicious, my Husband had Wild Boar, again very nice. We also chose a super Shiras Wine -... More

Number one for a reason. After missing out on our Virgin Balloon ride this certainly made our evening in auchterarder. The menu was fantastic, 3 amazing courses demolished. The trio of seafood is outstanding. The staff are lovely, ambience exceptional and the food was devine. My first trip advisor review as this place was so worth it. If your in... More

Stylish modern decor and tables well spaced, we hate being forced to sit side by side with other tables! Good menu available and I was a bit concerned about my choice of Shiraz but it was fine. Unfortunately no Pernod, my usual aperitif. Nice craft beer alternative tough called "Bitter and Twisted!" Princess Sylvia had the Gruyere and onion soufflé... More

On route from Glasgow to Aberdeen we decided to call in past Auchterarder for something to eat instead of our usual favourite restaurant in Perth. What a find, why has it taken so long before our first visit? A good welcome was received a table offered, menus presented and for the first in a very long time a jug of... More

Having just moved into the area of Auchterarder five weeks ago we decided to try out this restaurant. The restaurant does dinners only and not lunches. First of all first impressions. The restaurant has two rooms, one with five and the other with tables. The décor is lovely and the feeling is of quality. The menu has five or six... More

Another fantastic meal last weekend at Jon and Fernanda's lovely restaurant. Eight of us loved every course & service amazing. Could eat anything from the menu and would be wonderful but our highlights were the twice baked soufflé and the scallops to start, followed by the Steak and Fabulous Duck!! Crepes and Eton mess to finish us off ....literally !... More

Dinner with friends and we all enjoyed superb cooking and friendly service in this intimate restaurant in small Perthshire town. Definitely recommended but you need to book in advance as everything is freshly cooked by Jon who perfected his skills at Gleneagles.
