A wee gem of a place, cafe within the bookshop. Excellent coffees and wide range of specialist teas. Very tasty soups and sandwiches. Well worth a visit if only to browse the books and music.

Coffee shop/ fresh baking and interesting selection of publications.

Rustic coffee/tea shop in centre of Aberfeldy close to local shops. Supply of varieties of coffee styles with fresh baking including lemon drizzle cake and similar options although shortbread was not freshly baked (no excuse) out of a prepack of two. Really worth a stop here with comfy seating with... read more

We visited here whilst staying in Pitlochry and what a wonderful place to look around and have coffee. Over 3 floors there is an art gallery, a bookshop, and my favourite, the coffee shop, which has a wonderful woodburning stove at its heart. . It has such a lovley relaxing ambience, the coffee is great and the surroundings are so... More

Especially nice if you can get a comfy seat near the stove. The staff are very friendly and the service is good. The coffee comes in nice big mugs. Only downside is the baking, or the baking I've tried. Cake was a bit dry and not as flavoursome as I'd expect for a homemade one but others seem to rate... More

Modern and contemporary prints always make me hungry! So after half an hour or so browsing the impressive selection of Victor Pasmores, Sandra Blows, Terry Frosts and Adrian Wiszniewskis etc upstairs we ventured down to the coffee shop for some much needed sustenance. It came in the form of thick triangular wedges of cake. Specifically a gluten free courgette and... More

The Watermill is a lovely place to grab a coffee & homemade cake. Very relaxed atmosphere with some comfortable couches ( when available ) otherwise plenty of tables & chairs & a log burner roaring on colder days. Always very clean & staff are always attentive. Would highly recommend.

If you want a good cup of coffee in a warm friendly atmosphere then this is the perfect place to meet friends or drink a cup of coffee and read the newspaper.

My partner and i visited the watermill on our last trip up the road! the staff were friendly, and the soup was just what we needed on the cold winters day! the sandwich's were good but nothing to write home about. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere in the cafe area, it truly is a lovely area and would definitely return..... More

We keep coming back to The Watermill because we feel good there. We like the coffee, the cakes and sandwiches but most of all we are very pleased with the staff. Always cheery, positive and providing an excellent service.

This had until relatively recently been a working mill. It had fallen into disuse, restored and again become disused. It is now a lovely bookshop where workings of the old mill can be seen in situ or other workings up cycled to create a lovely atmosphere for browsing or drinking coffee. Although the bookshop is well stocked I found the... More
