Arrived one Sunday afternoon with two relatives. Beautiful day and the cafe was shown off to its best. Around 8 tables with a nice outlook over Aberfeldy. Two young members of staff floating around but had to catch their attention for service. We had coffee and fruit loaf, coffee was fine at around £2.50 a cup but the fruit loaf... More

Visited with family. Lovely book shop with great kids section we visit every time we are in the area. Downstairs the cafe is lovely, very popular so can be busy. They do takeout coffee too which we do sometimes then walk down to the park close by with the kids. Good lunch menu too with soups and sandwiches.

We returned here for coffee and cake this weekend with my son & his young family when visiting them in Comrie. The coffee was very good (perhaps a bit pricey?), again as were the cakes - and the setting in a bookshop is certainly different to the norm. Well worth the detour - we will undoubtedly be back.

Weather beautiful so we sat outside, gardens are beautiful and on a hot sunny day it is a pleasant experience. Inside isn't plush but practical. Only tea room to give a pot of hot water with the tea without being asked and this was very much appreciated. Good choice of cakes and a good choice if in the area for... More

Had heard so much about this cosy coffee shop from a friend who is a regular. Now I know why he goes there for his daily cuppa. It's a lovely place, good choice of coffee and speciality teas. Very friendly staff. Good choice of books, art etc...will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

Lovely bookshop, with an excellent mix and choice. Delicious cakes and yummy tea. What's not to like? The apple and cinnamon cake I ate was almost as good as the books I bought

We stopped at Aberfeldy on our way to Pitlochry. A local who engaged us in conversation recommended the Watermill. We were not disappointed. We were looking for a light lunch and the Watermill provides a range of high quality dishes. We had rustic rolls which are interesting and tasty in themselves. They come well filled with quality ingredients and there... More

Fantastic coffee, cakes and soup. Could perhaps benefit from a couple more menu options for lunch (eg baked potatoes). The sweet potato and chorizo soup was fantastic. And what a brilliant bookshop upstairs! (The bookshop would get 5 stars!).

What a perfect way to spend an afternoon; browsing books and having afternoon tea in a lovely relaxing café. It was busy but I found a quiet spot to sit and take time sipping fragrant white tea and eating delicious homemade fruit cake. Worth the wait for a table to come free.
