I have been here before and I go because of the amazing tea that they give you. The choice is fabulous and the cake it well worth the eating!

We didn't have a meal here but the coffee was really great. I like mine strong and it was all of that. Service was great, as was the ambience. Nice seating outdoors or in and the famous bookshop upstairs is also worth a visit. In a good off-road location with parking. Not a place to miss on a visit to... More

Had a welcome break from travelling and took afternoon tea and cakes here, while trying to find somewhere to stay in the area. It's in a great location attached to the famous award winning Watermill bookshop. The outside seating area is peaceful and very civilised and the drinks and cakes are presented and served to a very high standard. I... More

This wonderful bookshop has a small café beneath that we went to for a light lunch. Tasty rolls were supplemented by a selection of unusual teas. On a lovely sunny day it was a delight.

Arrived one Sunday afternoon with two relatives. Beautiful day and the cafe was shown off to its best. Around 8 tables with a nice outlook over Aberfeldy. Two young members of staff floating around but had to catch their attention for service. We had coffee and fruit loaf, coffee was fine at around £2.50 a cup but the fruit loaf... More

Visited with family. Lovely book shop with great kids section we visit every time we are in the area. Downstairs the cafe is lovely, very popular so can be busy. They do takeout coffee too which we do sometimes then walk down to the park close by with the kids. Good lunch menu too with soups and sandwiches.

We returned here for coffee and cake this weekend with my son & his young family when visiting them in Comrie. The coffee was very good (perhaps a bit pricey?), again as were the cakes - and the setting in a bookshop is certainly different to the norm. Well worth the detour - we will undoubtedly be back.

Weather beautiful so we sat outside, gardens are beautiful and on a hot sunny day it is a pleasant experience. Inside isn't plush but practical. Only tea room to give a pot of hot water with the tea without being asked and this was very much appreciated. Good choice of cakes and a good choice if in the area for... More
