Great cuppa and "slabs" of cake

Good coffee, great cakes, good service.... and a shop for crafting folk to disappear into. Husbands and children can feast next to wood burning stoves and magazines.

Decided to visit principally for the craft shop, which is well worth a visit. Great choice of wools and fabrics. Coffee shop very nice, cheeses scone enormous and very very tasty. Fly Cemetery or rather a fruit slice - almost the best I've tasted and I've tasted a lot. It's my favourite. Staff very knowledgeable, even to showing the embroidery... More

Great food, lovely atmosphere, attached to the shop (which also offers my ideal of Finnish products!).

We came expecting great soup in a relaxed shop cafe and that's exactly what we got. The cakes and scones looked delicious too, but a good bowl of thick, delicious soup was enough for us this time.

Primarily a top class craft (and woodburner) retailer with active craft classes this venue also boasts a very acceptable café. Excellent staff with good selection of light meals.

We then spent quite a time looking around the vast array of materials etc as we are all keen Crafter's. Having purchased several items we... More
