On Saturday, My husband and I had decided come down for a visit to largs from Glasgow and we were delighted to see Nardinis sat right on the sea-front (we often vacate the Nardinis in Glasgow and didn't realise that Nardinis actually originated in Largs as we are Both originally from Wales) Anyway, we decided that it was a good... We have just almost had a cofee at Nardinis cafe but, unfortunately we did not observe the rules for getting a table as the rather rude duty manager in formed us. Apparently you have to follow the signs that indicate you have to stand in the middle of the floor and wait for a member of staff instead of choosing... More

Good coffee but more expensive than other cafes. However Nardinis has always been 'the place to go' and during the summer months is always busy. Would not be my first choice of places to go.

Visited here for ice cream to takeaway, massive selection to chose from. Friendly staff, fast service. Ordered Scottish tablet and the part on display had a lot more pieces of tablet in the ice cream than the scoops I received, only slight niggle to lovely ice cream :-)

Nice open and clean atmosphere, good variety of meals, and reasonably priced. Had a little difficulty finding parking near the ferry terminal.

Vistied Nardini's in the summer for lunch after hearing good things. The ribs to start were fantastic and I though we were on to a winner! Thereafter the pizza I had was disappointingly average (especially for an Italian restaurant) and the service was slow and unresponsive despite the fact that the restaurant wasn't busy. Plenty of Italians I would go... More

Attended late afternoon on a Sunday. Lovely decor, and very attentive and friendly staff. Haddock and chips, extremely tasty and good sized portion. I personally didn't have desert which seems to be the main attraction. The rest of the group all did. They looked fantastic and from reports tasted just as good.

Had quite possibly the best sandwich I've ever had at Nardini's. Everybody was delighted with the quality of their food and it's a rather beautiful restaurant. The service is good, the views are good, the food is excellent, and the ice cream is exquisite. If in Largs, you really must visit.

My better half reckons Nardinis do the best fish and chips. I think they are just shaded by the George Hotel in Inveraray. Either way, the fish and chips are excellent, the prices are reasonable and they have a selection of sweets and fancies that will have you drooling. Weve only been going for 25+ years, don't know why it... More

Can't fault it really. Fish and chips and a mug of coffee for myself, and the missus had a salmon toasted sandwich and a hot chocolate. Good, friendly service, and reasonable prices.
