Evening meal

Very busy with a good atmosphere. Excellent food. I had the venison with a mustard crumb and my husband had the battered fish and chips. Very well presented food with food wine. A large fire at one end of the room. Do book in high season or be prepared to wait.

Lunch at the Drift Inn was superb and the chocolate mouse with pink grapefruit sorbet was the best desert I have ever had.

Wonderful food. Delighted as I have only been in the Drift during previous owners times. Great improvement. Enjoyed every mouthful.

Told by owner dogs outside only what's happened with this place it used to be so nice comming down with family and your dog then been quoted the so called hygiene laws about dogs as I asked was going to be eating in the kitchen with raw food why don't they say they don't like dogs.

Yet again a fabulous meal at the Drift with excellent service. If you haven't been before you must. I have never been disappointed.

We tried to book a table but they do not take bookings so went along for dinner and the place was full and had to wait about 20 minutes but it had a great comfortable atmosphere. 1. It was well worth the wait as the staff were so cheerful and helpful and we had a comfortable seat to wait in... More

Had excellent meal here and staff very friendly, not sure if its owner that walks about with shorts on but whoever he is he should try being more sociable and put smile on his face 😄
