Stunning little Inn with great views and great food.

We visited Arran this weekend. The weather was good which is always a good start! The day continued in this positive note with a visit to the Drift Inn in Lamlash for a late lunch. Nice waterside pub. Lovely staff and really good fresh food. I went for the seafood platter (starter size) which, with... read more

Stayed on Arran Bodrick first time and absolutely loved it. The drift was recommended by a local and how glad we were cause to be honest when walking along Lamlash the sign advertising would not have inspired us to try and what a mistake that would have been. The staff fabulous food at lunch excellent we both had half portions... More

What can I say about the Drift Inn ? Our first night in Arran we hadn't booked and attempted to go there to eat but it was very full. We returned around 6.30 pm a few nights later as they told us there were no bookings in adavance, just turn up. The menu is so varied and excellent for family... More

The most amazing scallops I have ever tasted while sailing the UK coast. All of us really enjoyed our food. We had to wait as it was really packed but it was worth it. A well stocked bar as well. Booking a table is probably a good idea.

Visited the Drift Inn after playing rugby against Arran RFC and were made very welcome by all the staff and owner. Food was delicious and excellent choice of ales. Stunning views from the beer garden. Would definately visit again.

We ate at the Drift Inn 3 times during our recent week stay in Lamlash. Not once did the food disappoint. When you cook and bake yourself, it's hard to find places that surprise you or do simple things really well. The Drift Inn did these things for us. The steak was fabulous and cooked exactly to order. The kids... More

A couple of very nice meals at a reasonable price, a fantastic outlook to Holy Island. Waitresses were very pleasant.

1st visited on a Frday night 3 weeks ago meeting up with about 15 friends before a wedding on Saturday, very busy but ok-food seemed to be the main thing there and many orders made, many drinks bought, well served if not brilliant for the price, beer quite expensive but excusable for a seasonal venue, beautiful view. Noticed the large... More

Visited here as a family of 4, we just had 4 main meals and 3 drinks (water for the driver) the bill was £62 which although not over the top for 4 people however for 2 of us the portions were rather on the small side and I feel that £15 for a roast dinner was slightly over the top... More
