Excellent food, large, well chosen range of house wines and good service

Consistent nice meals, we use it regularly and a good friendly atmosphere, local dishes and content are always available and sympathetically cooked. In my opinion well worth a visit! Try the Thistly cross Scottish cider

The bar man was very rude and food was very average! Definitely wouldn't go back! Was the low point of a otherwise very enjoyable Arran trip!

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, welcoming staff. We were shown an ideal table and given good advice about the best drinks to go with the meal. I was very impressed by how a new member of staff was being trained

This pub is a real gem with amazing views overlooking the Holy Isle. The open fire is a treat and the pub menu is amazing. The mushroom risotto was incredible! The staff are all friendly and helpful and children are made to feel very welcome. The owner is a lovely man and nothing is too much trouble. One of the... More

Myself and my boyfriend went here for dinner on Friday night. We were seated promptly and given a chance to look at the extensive drinks menu, which had an impressive cocktail list. Our drinks arrived quickly and we ordered our starters and mains. We both opted for the scallops which came with goats cheese, then venison which came with a... More
