Have known The Drift Inn in many of its dodgy guises over the years, some pretty disastrous, have to say this outclassed them all, love the decor, the roaring fire, the overall ambience and the staff were amazing. Reason I didn't say it was best meal ever, ridiculous question. Loved the menu, first night opted for the tempura battered whiting,... More

Enjoyed lunch with family at the excellent Drift Inn here on Isle of Arran Scotland. Situated next to the beach this pub come restaurant is blessed with a lovely view of Holy isle and Lamlash Bay. The menu is quiet extensive, specials board and also a short lunch menu either 2 or 3 course meals. The setting is relaxing and... More

What a lovely atmosphere , we were visiting Arran for the Santas Sparkle weekend ( which was a bit of a dissapointment ) but spent the 3 nights in the Drift Inn. The food was fab, staff very friendly, fire burning, live music good ( Matt Johnson), locals very friendly. Wish I was still there.

Visited the Drift Inn several times over the last year and have watched what used to be a rather tired hostelry go from strength to strength under new owners. The decor has been updated and has made the Drift Inn a warm and inviting venue. The menu remains constant and well developed for an island community but in addition there... More

Great pub, great good, brilliant selection of scottish craft beer and friendly bar staff. Amazing views and cant wait to go back in summer and spend the day in the beer garden.

Lovely view. Blazing, very welcome fire on a old day. Not an especially wide ranging menu, several dishes had garlic which I do not like, never have it. A bit expensive in rather ordinary, plain decor and ambiance. A group of children were noisy and allowed to run around, adding to the not relaxing atmosphere. The lamb for the Sunday... More

We last visited in the summer and were pleasantly by the quality of the food, ok, this is a pub, but the view is incredible, the food is far superior to pub food, we got off the ferry yesterday and headed straight there, food again was excellent and the staff were great, go there, you won't be disappointed - thumbs... Newly done out. Food great. Ended up at the quiz, great to see so many locals. We won the quiz and didn't use a mobile for one question.Had to go back and spend the winnings. Worth every penny. Fish dishes, scrummy.

This is a great pub, with very good food. The fire gave it a cosy feel on the dull day that we visited. And the staff, also, were very welcoming. However, the highlight was the food. The menu had a good range, but I did not regret my choice of fish and chips. There was plenty of succulent white fish... More
