Very quiet (when we visited), but really good seafood.

Some of the best squid I have ever tasted, served with really nice old fashioned chips. The simple fish and chips my wife had were really well cooked and full of flavour.

This place is advertised as both a restaurant and shop and smokery. We decided to buy some nice seafood/fish to take to our cottage to cook at home. On our first attempt we discovered the place was closed despite the sign saying it was open. On our second attempt, the place was open but the only thing on offer was... More

We visit Arran at least twice a year and always have few meals at Creeler's. In over 20 years we have have never had a meal there that was less than perfect. The fish is fresh (mackerel, when available is wonderful, totally different from tired old fish on display counters). A bowl of tender mussels is a meal in itself,... More

Enjoyed a lovely seafood lunch. The fish pie was stacked full of fish and was hearty. My seafood platter whilst impressive to look at was slightly disappointing for £16 both in taste and content but an experience I was determined to have. Friendly service in a relaxed casual environment. No alcohol license so need to take own wine and corkage... More

Had a couple of fish & chip sit down meals with in 10 days away but have to say that this was the best one & I think it was just a little different in taste & presentation & that is why it Beat the rest it was tastier & had me thinking about returning again. Which I will certainly... More

Yummy but not cheap. That said you get what you pay for and overall it was worth the money we think. Nice staff and setting and you know the food has almost come straight out of the sea that day. Recommeneded.

Great place to eat sea food. Not cheap but you woudn't expect it to be. Just be aware that if you order langoustines they come in the shells with claws etc intact. Should have realised this but wasn't thinking and as I am not very experienced at getting the meat out of the shell I struggled and wished I had... More

This place is at Home Farm, where the Arran cheese and Arran aromatics place is. I think this would be much better at night based on the dinner menu where the full range of dinner dishes are available and would try it then. We had lunch and the choice was a bit limited. It's a bit basic inside, but the... More

The advertising leaflet promised a good experience but it was one not to be repeated. Our arms stuck to the plastic tablecloth. The chair covers had shrunk and were stretched to tearing point. There was nothing on the table except our cutlery. The owner did not greet us and was the only other occupant. She was doing her accounts at... More
