Excellent fish restaurant

This is the second time we've been here. Boy do they know how to cook fish. Watch out for the fish soup - it's really rich and tasty. Scallops maybe a bit on the small side, but mussels, fish pie, and squid beyond criticism. Well worth a visit.

Visited this restaurant on Wednesday 15 April for dinner with 4 friends. Had starters and main courses each - all 5 of us had a superb meal. Halibut special with smoked haddock and mussels was a real highlight. A warm welcome was received by owner and sad to hear the lease expires later this year so the business is leaving... More

Having been a great fan of Creelers when it was in Edinburgh, I was looking forward to once again sampling Fran and Tim's delicious creations during a visit to Arran and it did not disappoint! Cannot rate this restaurant highly enough!

The food here is amazing. Giant languistines. And a a halibut. Mustard mash and various pieces of different fish in a chowder around it. Was delicious. Sweet too was amazing. The owners are so nice too. Brill.

Found this place by chance and after spending an absolute fortune at Brambles the night before for a very mediocre meal was very surprised at the standard/quality of the food and the warm and welcoming service... Now I can't wait to come back to Arran and eat here again. BYB and £3 corkage aside the food speaks for itself... Bravo!

We visited here but were a bit rushed as we were with a coach party. However, did manage to have the duo of salmon which was a starter, but adequate for a light lunch. The salmon was both smoked and hot smoked and a nice side salad and bread was served with it. Be aware though that they don't have... More

We always visit Creelers at least twice on our visits to Arran and have never had a meal that was less than excellent. On our second visit this September we were offered fresh mackerel - and they were really fresh, I'd forgotten how good they tasted. The oysters, soup and halibut were of the best quality -as expected. Every year... More

I have been going to Arran for years. I have always loved Creelers hot smoked salmon and their pates, but have never eaten there. That is until last week! Me and my parents had THE best lunch I have ever had on Wednesday last week here. I have the special of the day, whole grilled fresh mackerel was AMAZING, step... More

Enjoyed an excellent meal at Creelers, service was friendly and efficient. The mixed seafood platter for starters was delicious with a great range of fish and shellfish. Following a previous review which stated that the lobster was poor this was ordered with a degree of trepidation, however it was excellent! It was served with new potatoes which were great for...
