Fast and friendly service

Visiting Arran to celebrate our anniversary, TripAdvisor showed the Brasserie as being the no. 1 choice for a meal in Brodick. We booked our table for half 5, when the restaurant would open for service. Although we arrived a little early, they were open and we were shown to our table (which we... read more

We cannot fault the Brodick Bar. We came for dinner last night and it was absolutely Saturday night rammed! We booked a table but had a slight wait but this didn't bother us as we hadn't seen each other in ages so had a drink in the bar while we waited! The owner knew we were waiting and 3 times... More

Had a lovely meal in this busy place. There was plenty of choice on the menu which was written on a blackboard at the end of the room (slightly difficult for those without good eyesight). Pizza seemed popular. I chose ham hough to start and then, extravagantly, scallops. The food was delicious, service was efficient and friendly. It was a... More

A weekend in Brodick and by far the best place to eat is the Brodick Bar & Brasserie. Arrived about 2 pm on the Thursday and looking for a light lunch we ordered the fish soup and ham and asparagus pizza. Fantastic. So good we decided to go back in the evening and despite being very busy the manager found... More

A very busy restaurant on a Friday evening with a discounted early bird menu. We ate from the full menu which was extensive. Despite being incredibly busy the food was served in a very reasonable time, under 15 minutes and all together, by friendly and attentive staff. The loud chatter of customers provided the atmosphere so the background music was... More

Had heard from friends that the food was good here and we weren't disappointed, staff were very friendly and service was good. Only downside was the price of the drinks, we've been going to Arran for years and are used to paying a bit more than on the mainland but £4:50 for a pint and £6:80 for a large wine....shocked.

My wife,2 kids and myself went along to the restaurant the other day. Very busy and chuffed to get a table. Service was good but food servings were poor. The food was over priced. Probably won't be back. Too many good alternatives.

We were in Arran for a week and were looking for some food that was exciting. All the other places we tried were serving the same old same old but when we found this gem it was like night and day. The choice of food was incredible it was beautifully cooked and presented and the two best meals I had... More
