In the old days I remember the Brodick Bar having average eats and being dark glum with indifferent service. Am happy to say that in August 2014 much had changed and all for the better. Décor is lighter, service efficient and friendly and the food quality much improved. Not the cheapest, but would return.

Centrally located by the Ferry, has good snack menu. Appears to be a big shop with lots of outdoor clothing. Large cafe inside and tables outside. Good portions and the omelettes are excellent.

Visited here for a surprise birthday for me dad. Staff were so friendly and the food was fantastic. All round a great night. So good that we came back for my mums birthday a week later and once again it was brilliant.

Had a nice lunch here recently with excellent food. The place is very clean and welcoming, looks recently modernised in a stripped word style (better than it sounds honest!) and the service was fast and efficient. I was expecting it to be standard Pub Grub, but it was much better than that. If you are looking for a traditional old... More

We had the opportunity to eat at the Brodick Bar on a recent trip to Arran. It was great. We enjoyed the meal so much that we returned for dinner one more time before we left the island. The food was delicious and the service was spot on. Would highly recommend for a great meal. Plenty of menu options available.

The place was fully booked. The waiting area (the adjoining bar) was full. They were so busy that we were told we'd have to wait around an hour to 90 minutes. The bar was fairly busy and the barman not the fastest - but it wasn't too bad. We got a restaurant table in good time (45 minutes) and got... More

cant comment on the food, after waiting patiently to be served as the barman chatted with someone for around five minutes, despite seeing us waiting he then went on to serve someone else who had just walked in to be fair he did notice as we walked out to go elsewhere (the ormidale) he claimed not to have seen us...
