A welcome refuge from the February weather on Arran. Didn't sample the food but the well stocked bar was warm, spotless and welcoming. Friendly staff added to the cosy atmosphere.

I always look forward to visiting the Brodick Bar when we are in Arran. I must say I have never been disappointment. The menu is full of wonderful choices, the welcome from the owner and his staff is always warm and jovial. Had two great meals and far too much wine over two great nights, planning out our next trip... More

As regular visitors to Arran we try to eat at the Brodick Bar each time we go. We have never been disappointed. 9 of us ate there last Friday evening and tried the early bird menu. It was the quietest I've ever seen it as usually it is always very busy. The food was excellent and very good value for... More

Four of us went for a meal here one evening and whilst the food was pretty good, it is not particularly cheap and neither is the beer, but we found the latter to be similar all over the island. Hard to give an unbiased opinion as the walk to the pub was through a heavy rain episode!

We ate at the Brodick Bar between Christmas and New Year. This is the first time we had eaten at this restaurant, even though we have visited Arran on several occasions. We weren't disappointed. We arrived at just after 7 and all the tables were taken. We had a drink in the bar but only had to wait about 10 mins... More

My husband and I visited the Brodick Brasserie on 3 January for dinner. We had previously visited the year before and loved it so we were looking forward to eating there again and I have to say it did not disappoint! The food, although a bit pricey, is worth every penny and I have no complaints about it at all!... More

I have been going to the Brodick bar for years and never had a bad meal! This is where all the locals go from all over the Island. Service is friendly with the owner never far away, good selection of beers, wine and fizz served by the glass. The gastro-pub style menu is extensive and interesting, and incorporates local produce.... More

Seafood platter had as much fish as a starter. Large pizza was embarrassingly small - was shared between 2 as the expectation was for a large pizza... Good service but disappointing food.
