There were 8 of us visiting and everyone was delighted with the food. The menu is extensive, and very fresh. The produce was of a very high standard. I had the pork stuffed with apricots and apples, wrapped in pancetta with ginger cream and it was absolutely delicious! The chefs here really know their stuff. It is also totally unpretentious... This place may not look much from the outside. Indeed, you might not think to expect too much when you're sat in the place, but if you're so easily 'intimidated' by a lack of decor, fear not, the food will more then satisfy you! My wife and I had arrived after a long schlep from London (which may or may... More

Not cheap but the food choice was extensive. I had the Lamb and my wife had the pork and it was a toss-up which was nicer. We were there on a Wed night and it was VERY busy.

Whilst back in Brodick for a wedding, we enjoyed another excellent meal at the Brodick Bar. Friendly staff, good/varied menu and food excellent. We ate from the early evening menu where you can choose from 2/3 courses --reasonable choices, good portions and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 courses alongside a few drinks.Outwith this paper menu, there is a separate large ,varied... I live on Arran and always take friends and family to the Brodick Bar. I recently went with friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. I also recommend it to my holiday makers as I have holiday cottages. Everyone is always blown away by the standard of food. A few weeks ago I had a large party of people from... More

Great food, good atmosphere and friendly staff is how I would some up this place. Will definitely be going back again next time we visit Arran.Only slight downside was the fact that the whole menu was on a chalk board at one end of the room, nearest to where we were sat. All night there where people walking over and... More

On holiday and went back here as I have had good meals here on previous visits. The place is well patronised and was nearly full although we got a table without waiting. The service was good although why the place persists with a chalkboard menu I do not know. It's a pain to get up when you have just sat... More

We've been here a couple of times. Always feel that it's a pleasant enough looking place but the staff are a bit cold. There's always a good selection of local fayre on offer, but annoyingly, it's a walk to the blackboard to view the menu. This is equally annoying if you're seated at the table under the blackboard as you... More

We hadn't been to the Brodick Brasserie for a few years, and we feel they've really upped their game as far as the food is concerned. A wide choice of dishes, very well cooked and seasoned, with hearty portions. Several different waitresses served our party and they were all attentive and charming, but not over-zealous - just right. The atmosphere... More

We had a family meal here with 23 eating 2-3 courses. Fabulous food, good service and I would definitely visit again.. Great for children too.
