We went to this bar for the early evening special 2courses for £16.50. The toilets were spotless and odour free an excellent first impression,we decided to have the Fresh Haddock with salad and tartare sauce.(maybe not such a good choice) I was surprised by the portion size and the frozen chips (chilled) as the very cheeky server pointed out when... You will be glad you stopped by this lovely bistro and bar. The food is excellent and the place is very welcoming. We bumped into one couple who were eating there every day for a week ! Good locally sourced food and fresh ingredients make for a happy experience. All hosted by the proprietor Ian and his family. Delicious .

Had a super meal here - great menu with lots for all tastes. Service was quick and efficient and at under £20 for three courses was great value too.

We always have 1 or 2 vists to the Brodick bar. You have a wee drink then are seated quickly. Food is always great. All food on a giant blackboard. Write it all in white. Please. Red is terrible to read on black from a distance. But that's just a blip. It's a great place.

Six of us eating, really nice menu.....but....the burger, wasn't expecting the childlike portion for £10.50! Told it's handmade 4oz that's why expensive, even 7oz at actual Handmade Burger is only £9!!!

Fish and chips from the blackboard which was fine without being special. Guinness to drink @ £4 a pint. They do dinner specials but they finish at 6.30 before I would be looking to eat. After it is from the blackboard. Around 9 pm you get the feeling they are looking to close. You have to leave by a side... More

Opted for the 2 course menu with small glass of wine for £13.95 - good choice on menu, both husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed the starter and main course. Lovely decor inside with clean toilets. Staff very responsive to your needs and fast and friendly service was offered. If you are not sure where it is, ask for the local... More
