Very enjoyable Sunday lunch. This was my first time visit and very pleasant it was too. The service was very friendly and efficient. The menu selection was more than adequate and the wines were excellent and not too expensive. An added bonus was the location which offered a very close up and impressive view of the iconic Forth rail bridge.... More

Lunch here was ok, a warm bread is served on the house which is delicious, mussels to start which were nice but steak main was a bit rubbish. Not a good quality piece of meat for the price! And one of the fish mains was undercooked. Pretty expensive for what it is. Probably wont return.

Our first time here with friends. We opted for a mix of 2 and 3 courses in our group. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was a bit pricey but no better than average quality. I chose to have a steak - for which I paid a supplement of around £7. Unfortunately it was poor quality with far too... More

Got brought here by friends. It was such a pleasure from start to finish. The mussels are to die for. Smoked wood pigeon although was my main was unusual and delicious. Beautifully cooked fish en papillote. Enjoyed samphire thoroughly. Was unable to manage dessert or pudding as the Scots say it. Fabulous local place.

Visited here on Saturday for lunch with my hubby, sister and brother in law. My Sister had been before and we were here on her recommendation, she was, as always, quite correct! The set menu is not extensive but that meant that everything on it was cooked fresh and extremely well. The Celeriac soup with truffle oil was a delight,... More

We have been visiting the Wee Restaurant since it opened and it is our favourite place to eat. Rib eye steak is one of the constants on the menu and it it is consistently melt in the moth, another favourite is Shetland mussels. The menu changes regularly with lots sourced locally. The service is excellent and there are a good... More

I ate at The Wee Restaurant twice in October, which I suppose is a compliment in itself. I have been four times this year and loved every visit. The staff are attentive and friendly without being overbearing, the setting is quiet and idyllic without being too out of the way. And then there's the food, every course I've eaten had... More

We visited this restaurant last night and had a delightful experience. A party of four, we booked dinner for 845pm. The place itself is small but at no point did we feel cramped. This is a very popular wee place and every table was occupied. The service was excellent; non intrusive but attentive. Very polite and friendly young women. The... More

I opted to go here for my birthday lunch as I have enjoyed all previous visits. This time did not disappoint either. From the warm bread and tapenade to the scottish feta the meal was a delight of flavours and textures. The service was its usual excellent standard too. Back soon
