Make a reservation or you will not get in. Great Souther Food. You can't go wrong. Visit the distillery and then have lunch.

This was my third visit to Miss Mary Bobo's and as usual, I loved everything about it. They have the best food and the nicest people. I love their scholarship program to help local graduates go to college while they are in school they also work at Miss Mary Bobo's. The food is always perfect and you'll clean your plate... More

We were lucky to score a last-minute reservation not realizing how truly popular this venue is. We ate at the first lunch and seating and we were glad we did when we saw the crowd waiting for the subsequent seatings. We had a lovely elderly hostess at our lunch table along with other guests from around the country as the... More

Having previously visited the excellent boarding house style restaurant, "Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room," in Savannah, Georgia, we were looking to our lunch at Miss Mary Bobo's only to be extremely disappointed by the fare and lack of variety of the offering, especially at the high price charged. The server, "a scholarship student," was indifferent. Many of the items were bland... More

Where to start with this review? I was not sure what to expect, and my sister is such a picky eater that I was afraid it was going to turn out into a complaining session from her. We arrived around half hour early and we were assigned a table in an specific section. At the designated time we were called... More

Great old house and lots of dining rooms. Make reservations in advance. You will be assigned to a group/dining room and a local retiree hosts the luncheon. They get us to introduce one another, and talk about the town history. Food is served family style and nobody left hungry. Eat until your hearts content. Fried okra was outstanding

When going to the distillery, plan to eat here, and make sure you are hungry. You must have reservations, so give them a call before going. They will seat you with others at the same large table, and serve you family style. Everyone gets a chance to introduce themselves. We had a great time. They served fried chicken (the best),... More

At over $20.00 per person, I expected the food to be the best home cooking I could get at a restaurant. Unfortunately, I was sadly mistaken. I loved the décor and the hostess. I truly enjoyed eating with strangers in a family dining situation as I frequent those type of restaurants here at home. But the price and quality do... More

So, I wasn't sure what to expect. This place ONLY seats with reservations, so be sure to call at least a week in advance, more for holidays. It is a family style lunch, so you are seated with about 12 other people. The hostess has you introduce yourself and everyone can talk through lunch. The food was fantastic, very southern... More
