We were told this was a must do experience when in Lynchburg, and it was not a disappointment, come hungry and be ready to eat. A true old southern classic experience. everything was delicious

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Miss Mary's. Our hostess, Diane was so gracious and informative. We enjoyed the family style meal in an upstairs boarding room with a lovely family from Alabama. The grits casserole was outstanding and the Jack Daniel's soaked fried apples were delicious! Definitely make reservations as I'm sure it is difficult to find an open table... More

Family style eating, like it was thanksgiving. Great meat loaf, but the menu changes daily. Our room seated 11 diners with a host who discussed history and answered questions.

We were first timers in a church group of eleven, where some of us did not know others. The food and service was very good, with a nice variety of dishes. Chicken and ribs were both excellent. We were seated in a separate room for just our group. Problem was our hostess, who sat at the large round table with... More

This restaurant only serves lunch in two seatings, 11:00 and 1:00. You book and pay in advance and wait with the other guests until your seating time arrives. Then you are whisked to a room where you eat with a hostess and several other guests. Food is served family style on a large lazy susan while the hostess tells you... More

We visited with family who had been there before and told us it was well worth going to when visiting the Jack Daniel's Distillery. We were not disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the company of our hostess Christal. We also bought a cookery book to try making some of the recipes when we get back home.

My husband and I were told that if we were going to the Jack Daniels Distillery that we needed to go to Miss Mary Bobo's. We made reservations as was suggested. Our Hostess Helen was wonderful getting us all comfortable with each other. The food was outstanding. I tried things I never tried before. That was the only meal we... More
