This is just a small restaurant on the corner. Our server was full of energy. I had the two piece smoked chicken- AWESOME. The other three had the pulled pork sandwiches. Everyone ranted how good they were. Prices are very reasonable. Food came out quickly and with a smile. Bought some peach jam to take home and it was great.

Serive was excellent, food came out super fast, and the BBQ was some of the best we have ever had! If you come by this town during your travels you REALLY need to eat here!

We read the trip advisors great reviews and decided to stop at this establishment for BBQ. The 1/2 slab of ribs was on the special menu so my husband order that and I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The special came with two sides (coleslaw and baked bean) and the pulled pork sandwich had one. While the service was prompt... More

We loved the visit to this restaurant. Although it was a hole in the wall it is very cute. I would say the pulled pork was very delicious but be forewarned the portion sizes are quite small. My husband and I were both still hungry after we finished the sandwich.

After doing the tour and then having a wander around Lynchburg town we wear ready for a good lunch. We decided to try the bar-b-que caboose for lunch. This place didn't disappoint whilst the menu was fairly limited the food was good. The staff were very friendly and kept checking on us and chatting to us about our visit to... More

Fast service, reasonable prices and a down home friendly atmosphere make this place a cut about the average Southern "Q" place. The pulled pork is excellent and is great without any sort of sauce. It can get crowded but the meal is worth the wait.

A locally owned restaurant on a historic town square with live music for lunch and bbq that delivers what it promises. YES! One look at a picture of the ribs and I knew what they'd taste like. Excellent bark with a deep smokey flavor. The beans were homemade and the cole slaw was excellent. Nice, friendly service.

We were traveling with our two girls and had tried many places with BBQ. This seemed to be a little "Hole in the Wall" place, which fits our "rules" for traveling. We really try to stay away from chain restaurants unless we can't get it at home, then we might try it once. Well, this definitely isn't a chain! The... More
