Really nice cafe. A Very clean cafe with friendly staff. The only downside was the range of food available, it was quite limited.
Called in after finding by chance, had soup and sandwich as did my partner, soup was good sandwich was excellent. Coffee was good, partner had tea. Cakes that followed were good, carrot cake to die for and the millionaire short bread was good sticky and tasty. The decor was old worldly and nice in keeping for the tea room. Only... More
I went there for lunch after working outside all morning and becoming quite cold. The fire was roaring and the place was warm. The two waitresses welcomed me with a smile and said I could sit anywhere. I sat down near the fire. The waitresses were chatting and friendly. I was served reasonably quickly and the coffee (filter) I liked.... More
Visited after a walk up Falkland Hill with lots of other people. Sampled plenty of the home baking which was divine. Perfect pancakes and delicious scones. We were upstairs which is very cosy and pleasant just like downstairs. I great wee place for tea and cake.
Lovely tearoom which was very cosy on this chilly November morning thanks to large open fire. My husband and I both chose the Morning Tea/Coffee option and thought the pancakes and scones with two types of jam were absolutely delicious. My tea was lovely and my husband appreciated the free refills of (filter) coffee. Lots of other choices to eat... More
Popped into this lovely cafe today with my Mum and friend who were visiting me. It was mid morning so we had tea and scones/pancakes. It was a nice treat that we all really enjoyed, and at very reasonable price. One slight thing I'd change is that the butter was rock hard so I made a bit of a mess... More
We have been a few times over the years, but the ambience of the open fire, the omelette made with 4 eggs and the home made soda bread is superb, nice little nick nacks for you to buy as well, well worth a visit to the palace and gardens before the visit as you can pick up a 10% off... More
Service was pleasant, scones were well baked, light in texture and not doughy and the surroundings were pleasant. Prices were reasonable. Not a huge selection for lunches but certainly the best scones in Fife!!
This is a new restaurant in a location of a series of previous restaurants. The new managers are two brothers, one up front. Everything is new and there is a friendly atmosphere. Good coffee, scones, and granny's home made jam
Went for lunch with my daughter and husband . Delicious! Service superb and we will be back. Girls were lovely and the decor is so attractive and quaint. Best baked potato tuna and cheese !!!!!!!
