Discovered this little beauty whilst visiting Falkland Palace (as they have no tea-room). Its worth scouting around the main street to find Kynd Kittocks - the food served here is wholesome and great value. We had the soup & sandwich combo as we were running a little late for our lunch that day. Pleasant and cheerful surroundings with friendly and... More

This cafe is great value and serves excellent teas and ginger cake (besides other things!). It's up a side street in Falkland - so have a look and find it. It's cosey and you'll be amazed at the prices! Good service too.

After an absence, I returned here for Sunday lunch on Father's Day and it was as if I'd never been away and the tea room is just as I remember ... very good, homemade, wholesome, tasty, affordable food. (The soda bread served with the soup and the Gamekeeper's is just delicious.) The tea room was busy today (always a good... More

Just got back from visiting the beautiful village of Falkland. This is one of the best cafés I've ever visited. Gorgeous both outside and inside with a huge open fire being the centrepiece. All this wouldn't mean much if the produce and service were poor but it's first class. Cake and scones were light and tasty, tea was fresh leaf... More

I found my entire visit very pleasant indeed. 5 of us from all different areas of Scotland thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience. The stovies were great and the coffee was excellent. The desert was sweet enough for me to say "blimey", which in my book is high praise indeed. I don't know what some people expect. Its a 100... More

Visited this Tea Shop having heard good things about it. Sadly we were disappointed, tea room was cramped and dark (made worse by large lorries passing past window). Food was of poor quality, I had a sandwich bread was stale. Husband had a toasted sandwich which was dry. Seemed odd that other customers all had coffee top ups yet Husband... More

I amazed at some cafes give you such weak coffee, bought two cappuccinos like two cups of hot milk with some cocoa powder. The scones were average but no better than I can make and im in construction trade. Maybe suiting the older clientele.

Really nice cafe. A Very clean cafe with friendly staff. The only downside was the range of food available, it was quite limited.

Called in after finding by chance, had soup and sandwich as did my partner, soup was good sandwich was excellent. Coffee was good, partner had tea. Cakes that followed were good, carrot cake to die for and the millionaire short bread was good sticky and tasty. The decor was old worldly and nice in keeping for the tea room. Only... More
