We visited falkland on a recent holiday to Scotland and was recommend this pub by a local. Bit tatty inside but don't let that put you off! Lovely home cooked food and everything on the menu £7 (mains) so very good value and huge portions! Would definitely recommend here

My husband and I had a fantastic meal here. The portions were amazing, as was the food. We will definitely be back and highly recommend. Good value for money. You will not be disappointed.

I've been here 2 or 3 times lately and will be going back. Portions are more than adequate (you can ask for a small portion as I did) and the quality is excellent. It's a small Tavern and we usually book as it is very popular. There's a good choice of dessert and the prices don't break the bank. Service... More

Go here for lunch, especially for the steak pie. You get a massive portion, as much as you can eat of succulent steak pieces in beautiful tasty gravy. The pie topping is cooked separately, some other reviewers have not liked that, but it keeps it crisp, we think it's a good idea. I recommend having a side salad instead of... More

I'd always rated this place and recommended it to friends until recently. I went there, spent money in the place, then the owner was so rude I considered phoning the police. I won't be back.

Went here for Lunch after a visit to Falkland Palace. Beautifully looked after by the owner. Flower baskets and tubs outside are beautiful and very welcoming. Staff attentive and excellent service. Food was nicely cooked and plenty of it. Try the home- made steak pie. My husband said it's just like the one I make myself. (Praise indeed) Excellent value... More
