Big Portion small place

My Girlfriend and I went here for dinner a few weeks back. Staff were friendly but the space within the lounge were a bit cramped as tables were very close together. My Girlfriend had the Steak Pie and I had Sweet n Sour Chicken. Very big portions, the Steak Pie wasn't finished but the chicken was... read more

Discovered a little gem on our travels. Looking for a late lunch we stumbled upon this innocuous looking bar. We were surprised at how busy it was.The only seating available was at the bar, but that didn't detract from the experience. The food was inexpensive and very nice....and filling. A huge lunch for £5. What more could you ask. The... More

We quite often go here for lunch and we are never disappointed, the portions are huge, food is freshly cooked and delicious. The meat is always tender! Regular staff are friendly and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable especially considering the quality of the food. Good atmosphere too!

Stop here for delightful ambience and service in a building older than Australia. It was nice and warm and had lovely charm. The food was excellent, especially the homemade soup of the day, bacon and lentil.

this is the 4th time I have been here and I have never been disappointed. The food is home cooked and the portion sizes are excellent. They have a great variety of starters mains and puddings all at great prices. The atmosphere is warm and well in and it's an enjoyable place to have some food. Would definitely recommend and... Situated in the beautiful village of Falkland in Fife this wee pub is a delight tucked down a side street but well woth the detour. Very warm welcome, it's a cosy lounge so I would recommend booking on holidays and weekends. Menu consists of good old Pub grub and a few specials, very reasonably priced and huge portions. They do... More
