Rather impressed

Good pizzas. Pasta dishes were fine without being exceptional. Risotto wasn't bad at all and decent desserts. Service was good and a very welcoming but unobtrusive atmosphere.

After thinking we weren't destined to eat in Cupar on a bank holiday Sunday evening, thankfully fate (and a very generous host) brought us to Capriolo. Super menu, decided on pasta with a starter of mozzarella in Parma ham accompanied by a lovely Chianti Classico. We were even treated to a sample of the new menu - which was very... More

Eat here at the weekend with friends, what a find. Hidden gem describes this bistro perfectly. Food was fresh and authentic, great pasta sauce, and tucked away up a close. Will be back

Cannot believe I have not been here before, this is such a lovely little place. I went here today for lunch with my daughter and mother. Lunchtime menu had a great choice to pick from, we had homemade soup, bruschetta, and traditional favourites of cheese ravioli with tomato sauce and penne pasta with broccoli. Food was served promptly and piping... More

Forget the reviews I scrolled though before November 2014. Judgement is made on the new "Mine Host" and his offerings.Businesses are about people. This is exemplified by today's experience of a hurriedly selected venue found by chance ,as it is "up an alley".Its location is a bonus, as its a quiet cosy getaway from the busy Bonnygate. Our host was full... More

We had a slight wait as they staff waited to rearrange the tables after a party of 16 left later than expected but the staff were very apologetic and got us a drink. The food when it arrived was good and the chef does well to cater for big parties when he has such a small kitchen to work in.

No hesitation recommending this lovely little bistro in Cupar. Walking around town late on a wet Sunday afternoon, it was good to see a sign stating this place was now open on Sunday's until 6pm. Though very quiet, it had a lovely relaxed atmosphere thanks to nice lighting, decor and music. We enjoyed bruschetta, ravioli, pollo picante and house tiramisu,... More

Staying with friends outside Cupar, wanted Italian so checked Tripadvisor, with positive reviews we headed on down. Up a close but well lit, on entering we were greeted by a lovely young lady who made us feel very welcome. The place has a cosy quaint atmosphere with traditional italian music. The food is to die for if you like good... More

Visited this restaurant for the first time in three years. Slightly apprehensive as new management had taken over. Absolutely top class food with a service second to none. The restaurant was quiet when we first arrived but soon filled up yet the lady serving us still made us feel like she was at our beck and call and just could... More
