I had eaten here for lunch the week before and thought it would ve perfect place to bring visitors we had over from Ireland. We were not disappointed. I know a place has provided a good night if I feel relaxed from start to finish. This place offers that due to the great service from the beginning. The food is... More

Visited yesterday , family of 4 Its under new management with the only obvious sign of a change is the wooden floor! The staff are lovely but to be fair the service yesterdy was painfully slow which was as a result of the Ryder Cup and the attached golf club was full to bursting which had an impact on restaurant... I recently visited Rockies with 4 friends and was delighted by the experience. The menu read really well and I'm pleased to say delivered in every aspect. No one was disappointed by their choice and we were very well looked after by the young members of staff. Tom, our waiter was helpful, polite and happy to engage in conversation without... More

Enjoyed High Tea here with three others. Great service from a delightful waitress and the food was super too. High Tea is a meal we look forward to when on holiday in Scotland and The Rockies never disappoints. We always make a point of visiting when we are staying near St Andrews.

Had family visiting so decided to try high tea. Only done high tea a couple of times before and wasn't sure it was for us. However, we all really enjoyed our meal at The Rockies. Nice selection of main courses which included a couple of vegetarian dishes. Waitress friendly and attentive. Food well cooked and presented and the highlight (for... More

A group of four of us decided to meet for lunch at the Rockies and on a very wet day we really enjoyed our food and service which was first class. We had driven down from Stonehaven to meet with our friends and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of choices on the menu. We will certainly go back there... More

What a find. One of the finest meals I have had in a long time. We were a group of 5 golfers and we all had something different to start. From mussels to pate and soup. All very well prepared and home made. Main courses three of us had beef Wellington and it was simply superb. Fondant potatoe and local... More

We had dinner here on Saturday night. The place was hopping. A very nondescript kind of place you probably wouldn't look at twice. It is part of the Anstruther nine hole golf clubhouse. But what a find. Inside the restaurant was warm and cosy with great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and smart. Genuine smiles and great service. My carrot... More
