Luckily for my wife and I, we were given a voucher for Mrs Forman's. We went there on 19th July and had one of the tastiest and most memorable meals ever. We had booked in advance and were shown straight to our table as soon as we arrived. The restaurant is quite charming, not too posh but very laid back.... More

After looking at other restaurants in the Longniddry & Musselburgh areas we decided to visit Mrs Forman's. What a great decision we made! Service was fantastic and the food was to die for. Cannot recommend Mrs Forman's enough and we will certainly be back.

Was taken for a birthday dinner by my parents with my daughters and partner. A beautiful evening saw us enjoy drinks in the huge garden area before coming in to eat (we could have eaten outside had we wanted to). My starter of goats cheese tart was tasty but the highlight was the sea bass with king prawns for my... More

I live near by Mrs Foremans and have been going regularly now for over 2 years. The owners Ken & Nancy are very welcoming and friendly. Nancy has been a chef in some very exclusive restaurants and her standards are very high. For all the times we have been going myself or friends we have taken have always enjoyed the... More

Last Thursday five of us had booked in for a friend's birthday dinner and the cuisine was fantastic. The service was prompt and a great night was had by all. When we arrived our drinks order was taken, three glasses of white wine and two pints of lager. Then we were handed our menus - and there was also a... More

By far, one of my favourite places to eat. Excellent home made food from starters to puds. Friendly staff and great value.

First time I visited and I'd go back but felt our sever just "shrugged" his way through our meal where as when two other tables arrived he couldn't have been more attentive or friendly. The food was lovely though so I'd definitely revisit

Food very tasty, staff are willing to help. High chairs and baby change available. Can at different times lack a 'buzz' but delicious food makes up for that.

Went there last week after day at Musselburgh Races with family group aged from eight to seventy. Everyone found something on the menu to suit them and food was served promptly and well presented by pleasant staff. It is not a fine dining restaurant but a bit better than run of the mill pub grub.

First visit and was a bit disappointed. Food was ok bit nothing spectacular. It's advertised as a bar bistro but once you've eaten there is nowhere else to sit for a drink. We felt the place looked ok but lacked atmosphere. Probably OK for lunch but doubt I would go back in the evening...
