The primrose never fails to serve a good meal had fish which was excellent followed by a few drinks. Staff always have a smile and some time to have a chat. Would highly recommend this pub for a bite to eat and a few beverages

Family and I were in for a meal last week and as usual were made to feel very welcome by Pamela and the waiting and bar staff. We always enjoy our meals in the Primrose which is why we go there for special treats. On this occasion it was my birthday and they didn't let us down. The food was... More

Had another great visit to the primrose, the food and service is amazing, atmosphere great and a warm welcome. Staff are second to none and a friendly relaxed atmosphere adds to the experience. Can't stress enough how good the food is, would struggle to eat anywhere else in this area. Highly recommended

We all came here for a surprise meal for my aunties 50th! There was so much preparation and organising by my cousin and unfortunately the restaurant was no help at all! We where met with a huffy manager, creating uneeded problems! 3 members of our party of 31 couldn't make it, due to a sudden illness, yet we still had... More

Visited Primrose for Sunday lunch on recommendation from a friend, we weren't disappointed. Outside is nothing special but inside its clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Service is friendly and quick and food was very tasty with good portions and good value. Nice choice to suit any palate. Kids menu varied. Recommended.

I visited this restaurant recently for lunch with my friend following a heavy mornings shopping. We both opted for the beef burgers. This was a really good choice as the burgers were home made and full of flavour. The chips and salad were also really tasty. The staff were really friendly and very efficient. Definitely worth a visit!!

We had dinner in the Primrose Bar last night. The outside doesn't look anything special, but you wouldn't go for the decor. The service was excellent. Two lovely, friendly waitresses - efficient and pleasant. The food was good too. We had a sharing platter for a starter - massive. All good ingredients, no corners cut. Two of us had steak,... More
