We had dinner in the Primrose Bar last night. The outside doesn't look anything special, but you wouldn't go for the decor. The service was excellent. Two lovely, friendly waitresses - efficient and pleasant. The food was good too. We had a sharing platter for a starter - massive. All good ingredients, no corners cut. Two of us had steak,... More

Another great night from start to finish. Great food great service and as always great company. I now spent NYE in the Primrose and it just keeps getting better each year. Would recommend anyone to pay it a visit for a meal or just a drink.

Amazing food but doesn't exactly encourage people not to drink when a pint of coke is £3.20 rip off I wasn't asked if I wanted a free drink as a designated driver !!

Its been a while since our last visit, we returned due to the standard of the food and service from our previous visits. We were not disappointed, good food and service with a reasonable price, that's why we go back to The Primrose.

We frequented the Primrose every afternoon/evening during our stay in Ballynahinch. Pamela, Fiona, Claire, Mary & John are hosts extraordinaire and went out of their way to fulfill any request we made. The food was delicious (especially that "last night" chocolate fudge cake...thank you, Pamela!), reasonably priced, served promptly and with lovely presentation. And I have it on good authority...
