Nice stop for a light lunch

We stopped here for a light lunch on our Collette tour of Ireland. The food was decent and it was quiet and pleasant. Nothing special but nice stop for lunch.

Dropped in here on a Tuesday in summer for lunch with a friend. I've been here couple of times before, but not in the last few years. Two staff on duty and a man at the bar, all of whom didn't greet us. We chose a table at the far end and my friend had to go up to bar... More

The food was very good. As other people have commented, steaks are good. The other things we ordered were good too. The ambience and service were not so brilliant. We were put into a rather soulless room at the back because the main room seemed to be full. This was not brilliant, and we had to endure the loud chatting... More

An impromptu lunch in order to give my mother a trip out of the house. Beautiful surroundings, and restaurant easily accessible from the main road, with nearby car parking. Staff were very polite and prompt when serving. Food was excellent and presented attractively. Not overly expensive, and, on the whole, a great advertisement for the hospitality of Co Antrim.

Bistro style dining in old coach house. Decent food, steak, seafood on fairly standard menu. They have steak nights which often feature entertainment, free bottle of wine for 2. Attached to old hotel once owned by Churchill family, so some historical interest added to decent food. Menu available just all day, so agood option fro weary travellers passing through.

We called in for a bite of lunch when passing through on our way up the Causeway coast to Ballycastle. We only wanted a snack as we were eating in the hotel we had booked to eat in the Central Bar that evening. The food was OK- perfectably acceptable but nothing special. Then we got the bill- £12.10.
