Great location in Carnlough. I was told that the fish they serve was good.We arrive without placing a booking as it was a last minute decision. The staff were very accommodating and found us a table nearly immediately. The service was good and the Fish they served was excellent. Would definately go again when in that area.

We had a meal at The Coach House Bistro in the Hotel. The menu was extensive. The bar/bistro is informal and congenial. Our food was delicious and good value. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I would recommend it and look forward to revisiting.

Out for a days cruising to cushendun/cushendall and had spotted Londonderry Arms on our way through, the building itself had an olde worldy charm about it which made us want to call in on our homeward bound journey. Did not dissapoint. Lovely spot and a good buzz with many full tables in front bar area. Nice welcome from waiter and orders... More

Limited menu. Service poor although staff were keen to take initial order, were not so keen to ask about desserts/tea/coffee. Had to try for about 5 mins to get staff's attention - this was when the restaurant had only 6 tables left. I had a burger - dry, a handful of chips and the burger was already dressed with a... More

These days where many folk often demand a modern, chic and trendy hotel environment, it was actually nice to experience the more traditional breed of hotel that is the Londonderry Arms. We visited on a B and B basis, attending a literary event that was taking place over the weekend. Our room was on the top floor facing towards the... More

We dropped in to this historic hotel for a top up of coffee at the start of a day on the coast. On disembarking our private minibus we had encountered the father of the hotel's owner. The gentleman was charm itself and we were enthralled by his local tales. We had a quick peek in the hotel, once owned by... More

We booked a table for 7.30pm. When we arrived the waiting staff didn't know anything about it, were very casual, not apologetic. They showed us to a table just as punters off the street were looking for a table as well - the waitress let the other people have the table instead!! We were given a table and a steak... More

Our family of five ate here over the Easter holidays, this may have been the reason for the poor service, the staff seemed to be overwhelmed by the volume of customers. It was a table service for drinks as well as food, if they had of concentrated on the food and allowed you to go to the bar for drinks... More

Ordered Chicken Liver Pate as a main accompanied by toast salad dressing. The toast was really soggy and the pate was disgusting, worst ever, actually tasted like fish. My daughter had Chicken Merryland which was tasteless and presentation was not as good as other Chicken Merryland dishes. I was told I wouldn't be charged for the pate...Hello....did you think I...
