Simple foods, friendly staff and quiet location

Situated at the harbour and beside the old railway bridge where limestone was drawn down from nearby hills to the harbour. Also located near the "Londonderry Arms" historic hotel. The café is situated on the first floor and is cosy with a view over the small harbour. Friendly staff and a tidy... read more

If you have the privilege of enjoying a drive up the North Antrim coast a stop for a tea and scone is a must at the Harbour Lights Cafe. Overlooking the harbour the tea is fantastic I recommend either sharing a full Irish Breakfast or the mini breakfast for just you. Love the chips and scones too. Great food and... More

Lovely little stop with a gorgeous view over the bay. Nice traditional breakfast and I loved the cream cheese, bacon, honey bagel. Highly recommend.

Travelled thirty miles with the intention of eating here. One of the party was in her 80's and couldn't use the stairs. We tried to use the lift which was full of chairs and other rubbish and looked as though it was being used as storage. We left and had our meal at the Londonderry Arms. Perhaps we should have... It was a rainy day so we sat inside, however on a nice day it would be great to sit outside with the view of the Harbour. In saying that, our seat inside also had a view. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The service was fast and efficient and the food was lovely. My friend and I had... More

Being my first time in NI I foolishly asked for a 'Full English' when I ordered this food. I corrected myself promptly, as my partner had already informed me of how proud the good people of NI are of THEIR breakfast. The staff were lovely, helpful and kind. The tea was nice, and the fry up was even better! I... More

We didn't have much choice, really. This cafè was one of the few, if not the only one, open during a Sunday morning on December on the whole coastal route. It's a nice place, right on the sea and the view is amazing. The cafè itself is very clean and you feel welcomed. The food it's not that great though.... More

When in Carnlough, I usually manage to fit in a fry in Harbour Lights! There's a great view of the harbour from a number of the tables, and the fry itself is very tasty, & cheaper than a lot of other places. So, if you haven't already sampled the food there, I'd recommend you do, as long as - by... More
