Shared a fantastic meal in December great service and choice on the menu and catered very well for my wife who is vegan. The only place to go in Ballymena for overall dining experience.

This restaurant is located in the Clubhouse of Galgorm Golf Club. The layout of the restaurant is very pleasant and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is affiliated to the Mourne Seafood Restaurant in Belfast and this is reflected in the menu with an excellent choice of fish dishes both as starters and Mains - there are... More

My wife and I were given a voucher for the Eagle Bar and Grill as our generous friends thought the food was excellent. They were so right!! The quality of the food, the portion size and the service were outstanding. The range of imaginative starters and main courses gave us serious food for thought before we made our final selection... As a party of four we went for a quick meal, early evening time on Saturday.. as we wanted a light meal. we skipped the starter, maybe this was a mistake. still not fully satisfied with the main course we opted for a desert, which health wise is not a good choice. overall we came away satisfied , the presentation... My husband, 17month old son and I stopped here for lunch as we have done a few times and always been impressed with the food. I ordered Scallops, Chorizo and Fennel and my husband had Confit Duck, my son had Autumnal Veg Soup. The food was delicious as always, fresh and seasonal. Before we left I took my son to... More

Lovely restaurant and really nice atmosphere. Been to this restaurant couple of times and never been disappointed with the service or food. Quite busy for midweek. Ordered sirloin steak and Lamb shank. Both cooked to perfection and the presentation was as excellent. Good value for money and we will return soon.

Stopped in to eagle tonight for dinner. Were in time to choose from 3 menus: early bird, specials and bistro menus. I started with duck marinated in wild mushrooms, then had hake with chilli buttered cauliflower and potatoes for main followed by berry meringue. Each course was a taste explosion. If u have not visited the eagle I would totally... More

Ballymena is short of good places for lunch and my wife had had a bad experience at the previous restaurant at the Galgorm Castle Golf Club. However as it had been relaunched as the Eagle Bar and Grill we checked it out online, saw there was a promising lunch menu (£8 for one course) so decided to give it a... More

Great menu and excellent food really let down by portion size. I had a large rabbit stew £18 and sticky toffee pudding and was looking dinner when I got home. My wife eats like a sparrow and she cleared her plate and wanted more. My 2 year olds meal came out on a plate the heat was radiating from but... More
