This was our first trip to this restaurant. We were looking for somewhere to stop off on our way home and used Trip Advisor as a guide. Guided by the reviews and ratings we chose High St 51. Found the restaurant easily enough in Ballymena (town not familiar to us) and there was a handy car park nearby. Didn't know... More

We heard that Simon was back in the kitchen so we went along. Although he's hasn't been back long enough to get his own menu sorted out, the meals he cooked were delicious. I was even raving about the mash for gawds sake. Can hardly wait until he gets his menu on the go. Will definitely be back sooner rather... More

The little touches such as the chef giving a little sampler of something like potato skins with a special dip just adds to the dining experience and the early bird option makes it great value. Overall very impressed and thanks to other trip advisor reviews we... More
