Visited the garden centre here, which was pretty good with an excellent range of plants of which a fair proportion were under cover, which was as well as it was raining. We ventured in for breakfast as it was very early and the maple syrup covered pancakes and bacon slipped down a treat. My wife reported that her scone was... More

High quality food, good service, friendly staff, all make this restaurant worth a visit especially on a hot summer day. Good outdoor seating facilities

Very impressed with the menu, great selection of specials. We had Rabbit leg and crab, salmon and prawn cocktail, followed by crab risotto and salt and chilli ling and finished with sticky toffee pudding which were all lovely! Portion sizes were really good. Tables are a little too close together but thankfully both tables either side of us were finishing... More

Dined with a group. Menu had good selection as well as specials. Food of high standard but many might think portion size small - its ok if you have 3 courses or not very hungry. I feel the pricing is a little high for what you get but overall good experience.

We dined as a family at the Eagle at Galgorm golf club. We were attended to in a very efficient manner although not overly friendly. The menu is quite extensive and what I did like was that the main section was a complete meal without paying extra for a side. Overall our party found the food to be reasonable but... More

I had the t-bone steak and was cooked to perfection, I was with my girlfriend, she had a pork dish which was also excellent. I especially liked the smoked paprika addition to the steak, was amazing. Great service also!! The only thing that was wrong was that I wanted more food haha. However, I was not expecting a huge portion... More

Visited with family on 18th May to show my sister, who was visiting from Spain, the excellent cuisine that I had previously experienced. Unfortunately, I was totally disappointed. The menu was extremely limited-4 starters and mains,5-6 desserts, plus a golfers menu (burger, filled soda etc). I mistakenly assumed it was a Sunday night limited menu. We were almost finished our... More

As it was recently my birthday, we decided to visit this restaurant again after an excellent experience on Valentine's day. This trip was though disappointing. The restaurant was very busy and the waiting staff did not cope. Of most of the staff we were in contact with there was barely a smile. We were seated promptly but not offered a... More

visited the Eagle Restaurant in Galgorm last night and had a fantastic eating experience... very hard to find this quality of food in Ballymena and normally have to travel to Portrush or Belfast for a top quality meal... we had mussels in cider cream sauce which were delicious for starters and Ling and Monkfish mains both had a gorgeous Pea...
