My husband and i made a stop to have something to eat, so glad we did, great food, excellent service, very polite and hard working staff, all of them aiming to please. Next time we are in the area we will make a point of booking in to stay for a few days.

Fair enough title coming from an American! Such a quaint-with eclectic furnishings of non-matching colors that seems to fit their style-restaurant. Great menu from fish and chips to several vegetarian options. It sits right on Coast Road overlooking the Irish Sea. A Coal Tit caught a moth right outside our window, so not only did I get a fabulous lunch,... More

Nice setting but I didn't like the way in which my wine was served, cheap and nasty quart sized bottles, not good enough.

The restaurant was pleasant but rather dark with a view over the shoreline. Service was good and staff friendly. The menu offered a very extensive choice of starters, mains and desserts end result however was sonewhat traditional..Prices reasonable Fairly limited hours (early closing) .

The Halfway House is conveniently situated on the Antrim Coast Road with a large car park on the seaward side and pub/restaurant/hotel across the road (look both ways before crossing). The pub area is clean and inviting - sit by one of the windows and enjoy the sea view between courses. Service is prompt and friendly. As a vegetarian I... More

We were driving round the Antrim coast yesterday, and decided to call in for a meal, without booking. We were immediately accommodated, even though the restaurant was full. As a vegetarian, there is a good choice for me, and the veggie options on the menu were clearly labelled. I had veggie lasagne and my mum had sweet and sour chicken.... More
