So did the normal thing waited a few minutes whilst noodles went cold went to main bar to sort out problem and then approached to ask if it... More

Weatherspoons is what it is, very reasonable food and drink. This was our first visit to The man in the wall . Pub was in chaos, very busy and appeared very short staffed . Food was forgotten, wait was over an hour . Reluctant to return.

All of the tables were covered in dirty crockery and the poor girl trying to clear them looked exhausted. I ordered a rare steak, which was cold in the middle - fridge cold. There is a real difference between raw and rare,... More

Went to The Man in the Wall, early Saturday evening. Service at the bar was OK, although I was served a bottom of the barrel pint of Red Crimson ale. Many tables were simply cluttered with previous diners plates, glasses and leftover food. We cleared and wiped a table ourselves. Food...very very average, and mixed opinions in my family. Burger... Went for a meal with my wife and grandchildren on Wednesday evening. When ordering was told it would be a 20 minute wait for food. Ok we thought. After 45 minutes nothing had arrived, I was told another 5 minutes, again nothing, Eventually gave up and got a refund, and we were not alone. Will never return for an evening... More

Once again we set foot in this chain - this time in Wimborne in Dorset. The Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale - a new addition - were excellent and we managed to get a good table near the front. I was even more impressed with the fact that the basic toast and preserves came with a Tiptree pot of marmalade,... More

Being Sunday and on holiday in a town I didn't know, I researched and found that the green man did Sunday roast until 11 o'clock. Turned up with my 3 children just after 7 to find they had 'run out of Sunday roast'. Determined to make the most of our evening we ordered varying meals which were all fine although... More
