Met a group of friends at the Man in the Wall last night. It was Curry Club night. When we had all decided, one of us went to the bar, only to be told there was no curry left. No curry left at 7.30 p.m.!!!!!!!!!!! So we reordered, I ordered the Superfood Pasta, no Superfood Pasta, now becoming frustrated, couldnt... More

The Man in the Wall is situated in the lovely town of Wimborne. The pub offers value for money on both food and drink. I had a chilli con carne which was tasty and of a good portion size. Drinks are reasonably priced too. All in all a nice lunch stop and no negatives.

This is a Wetherspoons pub. Pros: Lovely building, friendly staff, cheap meals and drinks. Cons: Food uninteresting, often served cold, boring salads. This used to be more appealing but is sadly declining. If you want cheap and cheerful that is what you will get although must admit that 'steak night' on Tuesdays is worth it if you upgrade to the... Considering it was Folk Festival sunday, we didn't wait long for food (although we were told it would be a 1 hour wait, food arrived after 20 mins so pleasantly surprised). All the usual food and deals for a Wetherspoons with helpful staff who paid attention to who was next in the bar queue and cleared tables quickly. The gammon... More

Visited Wetherspoons for breakfast, big mistake. One if my hash browns literally exploded when I tried to cut it- it was so dry and old it had obviously been cooked a while ago. My food arrived from a surly waitress who didn't offer sauces (I'm surely not alone in wanting ketchup it brown suave with my fry up?). I had... More

Arrived at the Man in the wall for breakfast after a 100 mile journey from the midlands. Served promptly, food acceptable, staff friendly, what more can we say. Oh yes and good value for money
