I have visited here many times and the food it always tasty and well made with the staff helpful and friendly. It's a nice relaxed atmosphere and the food is reasonably priced. On this occasion we had the giant toasted tea cakes which are fab! Will definitely return

Popped in here for a spot of elevenses today and, as usual this little hidden Wimborne gem stood the test! Nice coffee, sensible prices and courteous staff. It's also good to be able to support a local, independent business, rather than a large, national chain - long may it continue!

Every time we come to the very welcoming town of Wimborne by car, we go always to this cafe. This time it was mid week about 11.00 a.m., not very bus., So found a table to suit so we could people watch! Tea and GIANT tea cakes were served promptly , we shared two between 4 so you can tell... More

I eat at The Cloisters regularly and always find good food and a friendly service at sensible prices . I often have one of the lunchtime specials or sometimes a traditional cooked breakfast and they even put up with my bad jokes! Good luck to Cloisters they deserve to succeed .

Came in on tuesday with a friend for breakfast, was very impressed with the waitress - quick and polite - food was top quality, coffee was excellent. Cheers Guys, friendly service and so great to find a good veggie breakfast on my doorstep!

Have frequented The Cloisters for years with my grandparents. Light lunch and snacks always good. I would particularly recommend the toasted tea cakes which are absolutely massive. The décor is unique with various crockery and pictures covering all the walls.

I have been eating in this restaurant for many years and have invariably found it to be well above average. Today my wife and I had a late lunch there, I chose the steak and kidney pie and my wife had the plaice. Both meals were distinctly of poor quality and cooked to a mediocre standard. The steak pie had... More

Being local to Wimborne, I have tried out almost all the local cafe's and restaurants. Cloisters is my favourite by a mile. The food is freshly prepared, they always have a couple of quality home cooked specials on as well as there normal menu and it's great value for money. The service is fast and friendly, and it's really noticeable... More

The Scone's were fresh and warm, the cream was was thick and there was plenty of it and the preserve tasted homemade. We were a party of four and had two fruit and two plain scones. We sat outside in the sun. The service was excellent the price was excellent and the tea was perfect. Highly recommended x

Love it here and pop in whenever we can ! Cooked breakfast is the best I've ever had , and always freshly cooked and piping hot !! Never had a bad experience and always encountered brilliant service and great food . Highly recommend ! Wish they opened a little earlier - maybe 9.30 would be my only suggestion x

Hi, thanks for your nice review. Just to clarify that we always open at 9am apart from Bank Holidays or other times such as on Sundays during the Folk Festival. Kind regards, Ian More
