We came here last week for lunch on our Anniversary. We used to live nearby 8 years ago and came back for the day! The Seven Stars is known for its high quality, amazing food and it still is. The food was fabulous, we both had a steak burger and our jaws dropped when they arrived. Mouth-watering and just what... More

This is a good warm friendly family run pub. Plenty of seating. The service is excellent and the sunday roasts are large hot and tasty portions.

On a cold December night visiting the Seven Stars is warm and welcoming. The Inn stands alone surrounded by countryside and there is plenty of parking which is good as the place always appears to be well supported. On entering there is a gorgeous fire burning and there are plenty of places to sit. You can eat in the restaurant... More

Having come through a dark and misty night on the Moors, the Seven Stars stood out like a beacon. Once inside the welcome was hearty and warm, the Bargirl couldn't have been more charming. The specials were delicious and the Ham Hock just tasted divine. ? Would I go back? Yes indeed, the restaurant is lovely and full of character.... More

My family and I often visit The Seven Stars when we're in the area and it never disappoints. Great food and drink, great staff and a lovely happy feel to the place . A special mention must go to the lady who served us drinks last night (dark hair, glasses. Dionne? I assume she's the landlady) whose knowledge of the... More

Was there a while ago with some friends. One of us ordered sausages and mash, the sausages were horrible (tasted like old pork), the fish was dry and the vegetables overcooked. The apple crumble for dessert tasted like the cook put lots of flours on top of terribly sweet jam. Very disappointing!

We pulled in to visit this pub, but unfortunately due to the overpowering smell of dog in the bar and restaurant area there was no way I could eat there , the smell was horrific , I looked at my husband who pulled a face and we decided to leave , who ever the owner is you must separate your... Second visit to the seven stars and yet again we were greeted by the friendly helpful staff. Has a warm homely feel to it when you walk in. The food is brilliant...fresh, tasty and LARGE portions. Childrens menu is fab also and they are welcomed too unlike so many pubs/restaurants now a days. Worth a visit ! Thank you x
