Thie food here was excellent and they do offer some traditional fayre such as faggots, seafood stew. Game stew and the most delicious steak and ale pie and venison burger. Starters are varied and delicious. Staff are courteous and attentive. Prices were reasonable and I feel this pub is well worth a visit.

Recently visited here with the family for Sunday lunch and found ourselves extremely disappointed. This is the second time we have been and people in our party have been unhappy with their food. I went for the sausage and mash with crispy onions, the sausages were extremely dry, tasteless and tough. The mash was not smooth and creamy as expected... More

We went to this pub on a Saturday night at 19.30' we were met with friendly staff, and were seated. Nothing was to much trouble. I ordered the soup, which was a very good, followed by fish and chips. I have to say this was the best I have tasted, batter was light and crunchy. Pudding was just as nice.... More

Large, spacious pub with a nice open fire. The menu is generous and appetising. The beef and ale pie was delicious, while the home made venison burger was good but not amazing. It was a nice place to stop on a long journey, but wouldn't make the effort of a detour for it. Well humoured staff with a comical "warning"... More

This beautifully extended pub just over the bridge from Wareham in Stoborough was a joy to visit. My friend & I ordered the beer battered haddock and it was just devine! The batter was so light and crispy thin but just right as it enabled you to eat all the gorgeous chips, along with homemade tartare sauce! As it is... More

There were 6 of us having an early evening meal. We all chose different from the menu and none of us were disappointed with our choice. Despite the fact that we were there the first week in December and there were some Christmas Parties, we still had our food in good time and beautifully cooked. If there is one criticism,... More

We have visited this pub many times and enjoyed a number of meals. There is an excellent ambiance with a welcoming host ,and warm, attentive staff. The food is prepared to the highest quality, and there is a varied menu, not just English cuisine. We run a B&B ourselves (warehamoakside) and when we direct our customers to the King's Arms... Nice food, pleasant environment and reasonable value. Apart from having to go to the bar every time some one wanted a drink, it was an overall very good experience.

We recently celebrated mu husband's 80th Birthday with a family lunch for 21 at the Kings Arms - we have eaten here before and been well impressed with both the food and service. They didn't let us down! The food was excellent, each person chose from the menu - it was a Sunday & the restaurant was full but despite... More
