Family meal whilst on holiday.

We visit the plough every year whilst on holiday and this year was no different, and as usual we all enjoyed a well cooked and presented meal, I had a mixed grill and it was good, the kids meals were nice and none was left, the chicken breast was definitely the best of the meals that came out, (8... read more

Brilliant little spot, stayed here 2 nights on our Motorhome tour of Dorset. Staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The pub has a great atmosphere, excellent live music and I am sure any visitor will feel happy vibes.

We went for a meal after a day out nice gammon steak and fish cakes portion size was large, and the larger was cold, very nice staff and relaxed atmosphere. Sitting in the conservatory on a summers evening with a cold pint and a full belly. Go and enjoy and read the local knowledge in the menu.

This is a rural retreat in a village with no shops and on a minor road but it is well worth tracking down for either a lunch-time meal or a evening bite to eat. We were greeted in a friendly manner by the landlord, John, and impressed by the range of real ales and non alcoholic beverages. His staff were... More

This pub has a nice location, and some local trade, but it's outdated, shabby and a bit uncared for. The decor is old fashioned and the whole place lacklustre. The caravan park in the field next to it is a misguided attempt to boost revenue. The service is friendly and there's nothing wrong with the beer, but I wouldn't recommend... More

The staff are friendly and the food/beer was very nice. The staff allowed me to mix and match food choices from the main menu and they kept a good pint of real ale. There are areas for motor home and caravans to park, which would be useful for a stop over. Worth a visit for the beer and food

Good site facilities ,maybe a small light on caravan park entry ,so you can see ,when you stumble out of the pub after an amazingly good value sized meal ,some good live music on occasion and the staff were the smiley faced variety . Well done plough we enjoyed it and the fee was well competitive

A group of us went to celebrate a birthday The staff were pleasant and helpful,we noticed the young waitress take out some cushions to a couple sitting outside on the garden chairs. The food was hot and tasty and reasonably priced. The only disappointment was the dessert menu was a bit depleted (we were fairly late) Altogether a most enjoyable... More
