A very old pub with a stunning view on Osmington Mills, stunning atmosphere and deco, very traditional with low ceilings and beautiful quotes written on walls. The food was nothing special, but very good anyway, but location and atmosphere are really outstanding.

Booked a table for 15 people Sunday at 3pm as they said no room at 2pm. 5 of us got there first and asked to order . We asked about roasts and was told there was only four left so order quick before someone else orders. We then ordered 4 LARGE roast beef. (asked for prawn cocktail , run out,,... More

This place was recommended by a friend so we thought we try it out for ourselves. It looks cozy from the outside and inside. At one point am sure it was but now it's just an en masse food producing chain pub. It was only when we got the menu, we realised it was the same as at the Lulworth... More

Arrived at a busy time, early evening, was told it would be a 25-30 min wait for a table, turned out we only had to wait 19 mins. Lovely pub in lively location, great ambience. Good selection of Ales. Meal choice was good, although my 1st choice wasn't available, steak I ordered was well cooked, but the accompanying salad was... More

from the moment you step over the door you are made to feel extremely welcome. The ambience, staff and food are excellent. We were shown straight to a table and were made welcome by a member of staff. The service was fast and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. When the food arrived it was piping hot and cooked to... More

This Inn is in a brilliant location. Fantastic views in the car park which is on up a bit from the Inn. £5 car park charge for three hours which is refunded when you eat in the Inn. Food was lovely - I had Moroccan chicken which had fantastic flavours. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do more to help.... More

We booked a table for 5 adults an infant and 2 dogs and had been thoughtfully given a table with plenty of space where we wouldn't disturb anyone. This is a busy atmostpheric non fussy pub with plenty of seating inside and out that is dog and children friendly. Two roasts were on offer beef and pork at our table... More

My family and I enjoyed an evening meal this weekend at The Smugglers. We were on a weekend break in Warmwell (5-10 min drive away) and visited the pub in the afternoon after going to Weymouth. The pub is hidden away down a dead end road and is a real gem of a place. When we turned up in the... More

Located right by my b&b this pub has a charming traditional interior but does not rest on its laurels. The young waiter was exemplary, service was fast and courteous and the award winning steak pie was memorable and entirely lived upto its billing. Absolutely delicious. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this pub. The view towards Weymouth and Portland from the... More

Four hungry adults and a 27 month old grandson were very well catered for! (no pun intended). We arrived in early evening and we're immediately impressed with the setting which, with the characterful, old building gave us a warm welcome as did the staff. An interesting and fairly extensive menu gave us a good choice. This is a Hall &... More
