Had the benefit of visiting on a warm Friday evening and it occupies a lovely spot. £5 for car parking is steep but you get this refunded as a customer. Service was good, we were quickly seated and orders were promptly taken. Food was ok but not great. I had the fish and chip platter and felt my fish cake... More

Been here before and came again while on holiday in Weymouth. The pub car park over looks beautiful Weymouth Bay and the pub itself is nestled away down some steps/slope with a quaint stream running by! Food excellent (ate here 3 times in a week)! and service great too. Really busy on our last visit which slowed service slightly but... More

The pub has a beautiful setting and is fantastic place to sit outside in the summer it's terrible that you have to pay extortionate prices for parking but luckily for us we stayed at rose well camping park so was able to walk we spent three nights at the bar and although the prices are extremely high we did enjoy... We've visited this pub several times now when we've been camping up the road, and to be honest the pub is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. They allow dogs pretty much everywhere in the pub, which is a big plus when you're camping on a cold night and need to get warm. It's also very child... More

We regularly visit this pub every time we visit Weymouth. It is very picturesque and has a lovely atmosphere. It's candle lit with beams and just generally lovely! We usually have to wait for a table but this time we were told it would be a 20 minute weight but it was more like 45 mins. It was 9 pm... More

Visited on a Wednesday and Friday evening whilst camping at Rosewall and loved it! Unofrtunately didn't eat but food looked great. Busy pub so book in adnavce. Great character as an old building and lovely garden seating areas. Dog friendly and free wi-fi too. Highly recommend!

Set in Osmington Mills in Weymouth great old pub with plenty of seating area . Menu is Hall and Woodhouse which is fine we both had baguettes which were first rate . However service was pretty begrudging several people sat behind the bar drinking doesn't look good if your a customer.

This is in a lovely setting and about an hours walk from Bowleaze Cove in one direction and Ringstead Bay in the other. My roast beef at over £10 was poor. I have seen more meat in a quarter pounder. Boring over cooked cabbage, carrots and swede were the vegetables and three tiny roast potatoes. The waitress walked about for... More

Queued for 20 minutes to pay £7.70 for 2 shandies! Food so overpriced. Understaffed to such an extent that huge queues were forming, toilets unclean, tables not cleared away. The manager/owner needs to watch out because all this greed means they are losing customers.
