A superb lunch

A superb lunch and desert, with a gorgeous sea view. Have been many times to this restaurant, and as yet have never been disappointed.

Popped down to Portland on a STORMY afternoon. Had never been in here in previous years, thought we would just have a cup of tea. Very friendly. Had homemade scone, it was wonderful, one of the best I have ever had. My husband had the crab salad, which he enjoyed. Will definitely be going back. Had a lovely little shop... More

Although there was quite a queue it was worth the wait. The crab sandwich was lovely and fresh and the cream tea was simply perfect.

A lovely birthday lunch, we all had different food which was delicious and I had the crab sandwiches. Followed by a lovely sundae. The pots o's tea are good too.

lovely food, lovely setting but very expensive, they have the monopoly as it is at Portland Bill , would not want to pay for a family to have ice creams from here

Great stormy view of the sea, right by the window. This is a busy place and it's not hard to see why. A great team of young staff and fantastic food. The smoked mackerel was melt in the mouth, the salad crisp and fresh, the fries to die for, real tea leaves and delicious gooseberry pie for dessert... and very... More

What a great cafe and gift shop, right at the top of Portland Bill. Popped up for a scone and tea, delicious homemade scone and REAL tea made from tea leaves, absolutely full of flavour. Wonderful views. Spotlessly clean and very friendly, efficient staff. Well worth a visit .

Well organized and plenty of staff to serve us all. Food very good. Staff busy but happy. A breezy day but still ok to sit outside and eat your dinner. Lovely views to sit and watch. Enjoyed every minute of our visit.

Good lunch venue. Excellent surroundings with always interesting views zespecially on a stormy day. Service good and food very good as well as inexpensive. Local fish, crab etc. Service always friendly. Would advise booking as the always seem to be busy whatever day of the week. Plain well cooked food.
