This was my second visit here - I love the lobster pot and always will but I was disappointed to see them still using the plastic knives which snap everytime I have my cream tea ! Other than that, great cream tea - best scone I've ever had, my partner rated your fish and chips the best he had this... More

Hadn't planned to have lunch but when we went in it looked so welcoming and had great views. We were not disappointed staff lovely and nothing too much trouble. The food was great and we went back again on the last day of our holidays as such a nice place. Highly recommend.

We did not plan to eat. It was a spur of the moment thing but we are so glad we did. A busy lunchtime but we were looked after very well. Fish and chips for both of us. Generous portions and very good value. The view makes the restaurant even better!

Fantastic. Started with a lovely cup of tea from tea leaves. Nice touch. My wife and I had the Brie, bacon and cranberry baguette. Thought at the time a tad expensive at £6.25 each but turned out well worth the money. Finished off with a (warm) scone for the wife and a stunning homemade gooseberry and clotted cream pie for... Been here many times in the past, but this year is first time going while gluten free and I couldn't ask for better, see my review here http://localhost/IISTest/coeliac/review.aspx?ReviewID=5

Beautiful location and friendly staff but the quality of the food really let it down, particularly given the mid-high end pricing. The chips were pasty and undercooked and the steak and kidney pie was of a quality befitting a dodgy football stadium vendor. The chips were politely asked to be cooked for longer and were returned ever so slightly more... More

Being a regular visitor to the Lobster Pot we decided to take our family here as they were staying with us for a couple of weeks. Having sung its praises to them we weren't let down. Our meals came quickly, despite it being very busy, and were hot and delicious. My gammon steak was huge, succulent and grilled to perfection.... More

The location is stunning and the food very tasty. Home cooked chips and their scones are particular favourites. However, as we have been coming for a few years now, we have noticed that prices seem to be higher each time we visit. I know they have a captive audience and the food really is wonderful. It can be argued that... More

Very impressed with the service. The waitresses remebered to whole order without using notepads. The food was excellent.

Amazing location and after walking halfway round the island we needed something of substance. I had a great bacon and brie baguette whilst my girlfriend had a really good salad. We also devoured a bowl of cheesey chips. We left extremely full and very pleased. Great food and just what was needed.
