Really nice meal recommend the food Atmosphere lacks and could do with table service rather than order at bar. Staff could do with a bit of training Overall a good find and worth a visit if in area

a reasonably priced pub with guest beers and fab food. The gardens face over the castle and have the best views of anywhere in the village. We vistied during the Cider and Sausage festival and had food from their specials, the servings were huge. Really worth a visit

Was here a couple of days ago. We were in need of a hot drink to get out of the rain so after a quick look at the castle and a few photos, we went into the Greyhound Inn. It was a really cozy pub with what I will describe as a "comfortable" atmosphere - warm, inviting and decent music... More

We recently visited the Greyhound for the first time set next to Corfe Castle was an ideal place to stop, very original and looked nice. Food was tasty, service was also quite quick. Price wasn't the cheapest but probably using better ingredients than most! Overall I would recommend.

Diappointed by the food at our local hotel we took a chance and went into Swanage to get a meal -big mistake in November if you haven't pre-booked a table or want something other than Pizza, Fish & Chips or a Wimpy (never realised they still existed!) Returned To Corfe Castle and went into the Greyhound, by good fortune the... More

My husband and I visited The Greyhound on 31st Oct, we sat outside in the garden which is lovely however when my husband moved on the bench we were sitting on it tipped over covering me in the drinks that I had just purchased and breaking one of the glasses. Other patrons came to help us up and I went... More

I feel that with some earlier awareness of the problem we could have resulted in this issue being avoided completely. I hope you appreciate that on this instance it was an isolated occasion and that you... More

Like another reviewer we turned up for the publicised 'fireworks over the castle'. Upon arrival we walked past a till and 2 members of staff happily chatting to each other with their backs turned. Had they have said hello and explained that they were taking money for a ticket to get a burger/hog roast from a separate queue we would... More

Just got home from the "Fireworks over Corfe Castle" festival and had to write a review as I was not impressed by this pub! First of all we ordered one coke, one lemonade and one cider which came to over £12!! Bit much. Then we looked at the menu and it was so expensive for pub food so we got... More

Called in for evening meal, table in back room, a bit cramped. Not very atmospheric. On the nest table, they had lost keys, so a lot of coming and going. Meals tasty, goats cheese and caramelised onion pizza, along with burgar and chips. Unfortunately they are serving in bits of wood, personally I preference a plate. 2 large cokes £4.00... More
