Lovely views and lovely pub

Service a bit slow, even when quiet in the winter. Soup nice at £5.95 but calamari overpriced at £7.95 for about 6 rings, slight green salad an aioli. Beautiful views over Corfe.

Have visited this pub in the summer for a drink and enjoyed the stunning views towards Corfe Castle but never eaten here before until today and won't be again. Had beefburger with chips and the fish and chips both meals costing 13.95 each and expecting value for money at those prices but alas not to be . The fish was... More

We went for lunch here today after a friend told us about it but we kind of wish we hadn't listened. We arrived with high expectations as the view and beer garden are stunning and on a warm sunny day this would be perfect for a drink. However, inside the pub is grubby, the service is slow, prices high for... More

Good service, honest gastro pub food in a nice environment suitable for the famous five and their fans. The views are breathtaking over Corfe Castle (pictured). Winter time with burning fires and no crowds made it a memorable occasion.

We've had drinks at this pub a number of times and before yesterday had attempted to eat here a few times. On one occasion the dishes we requested were both 'sold out'. On another occasion during a special 'pies' week, the pies we requested had run out. Another time we tried to order food in the afternoon, but they said... More

Love this place and have been any times. It's in a spectacular spot with great views towards Corfe Castle and has plenty of atmosphere . The food is good too - love their Sunday roast and jerk chicken and pork.

We visited the Scott arms today for lunch. It was a bright but very cold day. When we ask for the menu we were told they didn't sell hot food until 1pm as the chef didn't start work until then. We ended up having a sandwich otherwise we would have to wait 45 mins just to order. Whilst eating are... More

We stopped off for Sunday Lunch rather hesitantly after our last experience. However, there was a great choice on the menu today and although it was a more expensive than other places we have eaten, the food was really good. A good selection of beers and an organic pear cider which my partner had never tried before. We also discovered... More

A warm welcome, attentive staff and great food. Dogs welcomed, guest beers, ciders and even a gin menu! We are certain to return!

Drinks are good, very good selection of gin and snacks to have with drinks. The food is good I mean really good. That chocolate brownie with ice cream really did hit the sweet spot. We had dinner on Christmas Eve and we booked a table on the day. The service was good and fast. The only criticism would be the... More
