Good food, great views

This is always a must while on holiday in the area, have improved on past years, may be new management ? All bases covered on food selection, specials board was mostly fish which 2 of us tried. Run by the landlady who has moved from Kingston Jamaica to Kingston Dorset. Having lived in the Caribbean it's as good as you will get anywhere. Jerk lobster on offer. Local Dorset lobster cooked Jerk style is a taste sensation. Well worth a visit.

We walked three miles here after a recomendation that the 'food was better' than the nearest pub to where were were staying ( from that very same pub ). The Scott Arms is a traditional english inn, given the Farrow & Ball treatment, but you still expect a smuggler or two to be sat in a nook in the corner.... More

Driven past the amazing garden with one of the best views in the country and always meant to stop in. When we heard there was a Jerk Shak we had to make a stop. Weather meant there was no view and restaurant was fully booked so we had to have Jerk and had to be outside, which was very quiet... More

The fish and chips are fantastic, made all the more enjoyable as the dog was made to feel very welcome.

Four of us visited here on the recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately it was a foggy day so we were unable to enjoy the view from the pub, which I understand is stunning. The service was excellent and we all enjoyed our meals. Two of us had the treacle tart for pudding and this was definitely the best treacle tart... More

What a lovely pub! The pub garden is really nice with great views. Very popular but always enough room to have a decent table to enjoy a few drinks and some thing to eat. This shows how good this place is. Dog friendly!!! Parking isn't great with very few spaces so you will need to park on the road.

The Scott's Arms is a great place for family's, couples and groups. I had the burger here and it was well priced for the quality. The pub looks over a great landscape, you can see Corfe Castle on a clear day.

Lovely food and beautiful location. Service was good, albeit when the pub is busy, it can be a fair wait for food. But I think it is worth it. food highlights were the Crab linguine, which was superb, as was the apple snd pear crumble (needs more custard!☺). Great views of Corfe castle and lovely local walks.
