We visited on a beautiful day and opted to sit outside to soak up the rays and the beautiful Dorset countryside. There is first class view of Corfe Castle. The pub is about 3/4 mile from the coastal path walk fron Kimmeridge Bay and worth the detour. Be aware of the time though because food isn't served all day. I... More

The Scott Arms has the best view of any pub on Dorset. From the north facing rear garden the grind drops away to give a stunning view of Corfe Castle and beyond. Perhaps that is why the pub seems to make so little effort to please its customers. With a view like that why bother with good service good food... More

Having read other reviews we were not sure exactly what we were in for, but we were glad that we went. Yes, the food is a little over priced for the area but the food is very good, the views from outside are magnificent of Corfe castle and it also has a very good range of ales. The service was... The food here was really good. The staff mixed the order up and our food was delivered at different times. My husband had nearly finished his food when mine arrived. The situation was appeased by not charging us for our puddings. The food was very good though and we would go again.

This is the second time we've been to this pub. We go here for the view over Corfe Castle which is absolutely stunning. But add to that the food and drink and this pub is a winner. I must say I've only tried the Jerk Shack so can't comment on the other menus but I love it. Had the Jerk... More

I love the views from this pub and I can't think of anywhere else locally where you can eat with such an incredible view. The staff were friendly, service good and the food was fantastic. The portions are especially generous and definitely value for money.

Whenever I have friends to visit who do not know the local area we always go to the Scotts Arms just for the amazing view! The food is also very reasonable and is your standard pub food. Last time I was there I enjoyed the Dorset Crab sandwich, which was excellent. They also have a fine selection of ciders and... More

I was taken here by my wife for my birthday after seeing the pub featured on Countryfile. First of all sipping a pint with THAT view is outstanding on a sunny day. Large beer garden with variety of seating and tables. Once seated inside for food you do lose out on the fantastic view, however you are surrounded by what... More

Lovely beer garden that overlooks the village of Corfe Castle. Traditional pub, traditional service and traditional food.

Stumbled on this place, and note that it is in the village of Kingston, not the village of Corfe Castle. Beautiful setting that looks DOWN onto the castle in Corfe Castle. Food was freshly prepared with both a full and lite menu. It was not obvious to us that the full menu was running when we were there so probably... More
