Visited over the bank holiday. I was slightly put off by the decor (vinyl table cloths and fairy lights) but the food was very good.

Visited on a busy bank Holiday Sunday. Lunch was great beer & wine were expertly served. I also liked the landlord's ability to reel off that where the beef came from & how it was treated by the local butcher. Dogs are welcome in the beer garden although ours was only interested in the free range rabbit that had escaped... More

We all loved the fairy lights & the children were absorbed by the enchanted fireplace. Lovely, friendly staff who complimented our children on their manners & behaviour (always good :) Delicious food, good portions, lovely puds.

Having been out in the rain all day walking to the lovely Durdle Door, this pub provided a welcome relief to sit down, relax and dry off. The staff were very friendly and helped us by providing newspaper for our boots and and hung our coats somewhere warm. The food was delicious and well cooked and we spent many hours... More

On our way back to our accommodation we called in at The Castle Inn, purely on the basis of the last review on here and the fact that we were too tired to travel further. We almost... More

The pub is a short walk from the centre of Corfe Castle. It was a busy Saturday evening when we turned up. The staff warned us that there was a 45 minute wait for meals and found us seats at a table. They ran a waiting list for tables and worked hard to ensure that people were seated as quickly... More

Visited in mid June 2015 for lunch. Did not have to book but I gather can be very busy especially during school holidays. Great atmosphere, lovely beer garden and friendly landlord/ lady. Food was fresh and well cooked and the service Exellent. Could have quite cheerfully relaxed in the beer garden all afternoon!. Hope to visit again.
