This little place is a gem, tucked away behind a small frontage on West Street in Bridport - we must have walked past it dozens of times not realising what it was. Inside is an old style deli with shelves stacked high with all sorts of interesting things, many locally sourced. The chiller contains a wonderful array of cheeses, mostly... More

Lovely cosy atmosphere for a coffee and homemade cake, whilst enjoying our coffee and superb cake we were able to browse the delights on the shelves and the cheese counter 'wowed' us ! Came away with a bag of goodies, this is a regular stop off when visiting Bridport, well done to the owners and staff always a warm welcome

We went here after checking trip advisor for local places to eat. Lovely friendly greeting, excellent service and a delightful little find. I had the bacon and brie sandwich which was out of this world.. Served with a side salad and hand made crisps. Hubby had the bacon sarnie, also gorgeous. I asked for my bacon extra crispy and whilst... More

I had a dorset red cheese and spicy gooseberry chutney toastie. Normally toasties are a reliable but ordinary lunch. This was amazing.... Fantastic tastes, lovely bread and a great side salad accompaniment. You just have to try the cheese, smokey, soft and great for melting. I reckon it's the best toastie I have ever had. And my partner had dorset... More

I found this lovely deli on trip advisor while on holiday and wasn't disappointed. They do a very nice hot chocolate, with clotted cream and chocolate buttons on the side, the ploughmans was local and fresh and the service friendly and helpful. Will happily return.

When visiting Bridport from Bristol today I popped into Jaxsons Deli for a light bite and a coffee. I was warmly greeted by the two owners and we had a lovely chat about what to do in the town. I enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate and my friend had a special tea pigg tea. I had a piece of the... More
