I had a savoury and sweet pancake to share with the other half, both of which were delicious but the sweet chocolate one won. Nice bench outside to eat them on as had dogs. Friendly staff. I would say that we would have liked a bit more for our money...but that might be because it was so nice! Would go... More

Unfortunately, GJ, who sounds a happy friendly chap from other reviews, wasn't there and we struggled to get a smile out of the girl working there. We chose savoury pancakes which were disappointing. In addition, once the fillings were put on they were rolled up and microwaved to heat the filling! Maybe this is normal but I was surprised by... More

Nice treat for the kids, which they really enjoyed. Adults had savoury ones and we were expecting a little bit more from a shop that makes just pancakes, but didn't quite meet up to expectations.

Visited on a day trip and kids decided they would like pancakes instead of ice cream. Had banoffee and choccie. Absolutely delicious.

We gave our 3 children the choice between an ice-cream or a pancake during our visit to Woolacombe. At first only 1 chose the latter but whilst watching the great man at work making the pancakes and adding a variety of different toppings the other 2 soon changed their minds! 3 ver satisfied and very full customers. Only slight criticism... More

Stayed in Woolacombe for a week and children and I ate pancakes in GJ's most days. GJ himself very welcoming - children looked forward to his chat as much as his food. Excellent place to get a light but filling lunch or for a mid-afternoon snack on way back from beach. Not sure I share opinions about fillings, I thought... More

The pancakes were OK, i had maple syrup that cost 2.50 and the woman only put a little drizzle in the middle and rolled it around, i think it was definatly not worth the money! I went on 1st of august at about half 3, woman with brown hair served me an she was VERY miserable! She did not say... More
