We were on holiday at Woolacombe in July and we enjoyed a couple of drinks here! It was a Saturday afternoon and bustling, however we managed to get served at the bar quite fast and we sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine. Nice pub to have a drink and enjoy the sun.

We were hungry after arriving late at our holiday site, we spotted this place tucked away in a side street. It was empty, apart from a few drinkers in the bar, but we risked it and I'm glad we did. Very tasty food and great value too. The lady serving was nice and friendly as well. Don't know why people... More

A basic local but had all the elements required for a relaxing lunchtime drink with family over a few rounds of pool. Will definitely go again.

We went into Captain Jacks to avoid the crush of people in the center of woolacombe. We ordered the spicy tomato soup, a pizza, and two paninis. All of it was surprisingly delicious and very flavourful! The pizza was hot and bubbly, on a very thin crust - very tasty (my son, who is 7, ate 7 slices!). The paninis... More

Visited there for lunch but was disappointed by the outside seating and the fact that you had to queue for food like a transport café and not particularly good menu.

We are rather well known in Cpt Jack's, nothing to be proud of I'm sure, but we have had so much fun in here, playing pool, trying to keep control of our dogs, drinking far too much rum. We have been in on a dreary day only to come out and find blazing sun, we look like moles coming out... More

The pub had a great, relaxed and welcoming feel. Drinks were good and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. You should definitely check out the attached restaurant - Hungry Jacks - the food was delicious!
