Very pleasant visit

Recently visited for an evening meal over the easter break. The whole experience was very good, food was delicious and well presented. The lady who took our orders was very friendly and great with our little boy. My only slight gripe was lipstick on my wife's wine glass. Well worth a visit!

We popped in here for lunch and I chose the rack of lamb, which was served with mash and veg. I had 3 tiny pieces of lamb and the mash was definitely out of a packet. Very disappointing when it cost over £17. I won't be going back

The staff, food and location are outstanding. A very pleasant stay over three weekends at the Woolacombe Bay Hotel, and visits to the Brasserie included. Out of ten? 20!!! The Chilli is spectacular, Crab Linguine superb, the specials are inventive, the service is second to none. A good selection of beverages, and a very attentive level of staffing make this... More

We ate at Bay Brasserie on both nights of our stay in Woolacombe. On the first night - where the hotel we stayed at were not prepared to serve us a light snack after 7.30pm we walked down to Bay Brassierie and explained we didnt want a full meal. They were very helpful suggesting a platter to share , roast... More

I was visiting Woolacombe for a funeral and parked up near here and wandered in for a bite to eat. The restaurant is very clean and the staff helpful. On leaving I enquired about parking at the local church and Heidi was extremely helpful and told me it was quicker to walk and took me outside to point me in... More

We ate here one cold Friday in February - we were looking for somewhere for lunch and luckily we found this place alongside the Bay Hotel. It had obviously been recently refurbished and was looking very smart ready for the upcoming spring/summer season. The food was excellent as was the wine and beer. Service was very attentive (but the place... More

My husband and I decided to try the lunchtime menu. We were welcomed and promptly seated, our order was taken and drinks were brought to us. My order arrived. After several attempts at getting the attention of the 2 members of staff, we asked for my Husbands order to be chased as it had been 15 minutes by this time... More

As we had stayed at the Woolacombe Bay hotel we decided to eat here as part of the hotel, this restaurant stretches out further than your first think. We shared the seafood platter which was amazing, good tasty food, our main courses were just as good, especially loved the extras that came with the chilli. A small but good choice... More

There's not much choice in Woolacombe and the Brasserie is about the best. Food can be memorable but occasionally misses the mark and it is expensive. The menu doesn't change much so you won't want to eat there every night. Mains all good but can be a bit pretentious, steak properly cooked, cheese board was special. Pretty good wine list... More
