No complaints from me about the service or food at The Corn Dolly. There is a comprehensive menu of freshly-cooked dishes, savoury and sweet, and we found the service to be very good. The home made scones are enormous so I asked for a doggy bag which was happily provided. As others have said, it has a traditional tea-room feel... More

The Corn Dolly is a very nice Tea Shop serving lovely home made cakes and pastries.Very good service with a traditionally old fashioned tea shop feel about it!

Once a very high quality and respectable tea shop the food and refreshment have stayed the same though this can not be said about the service! Even on a quiet afternoon when you expect better results the service is still unacceptable. The staff are not very well organised in anyway and this results in extremely long waiting times. Many times... More

I love the food, ambiance and pace but with an active 3yr old the wait can be challenging. I have solved this by sending an advance party to order. This wait is indicative of freshly cooked food and relaxation which is achievable either without children, planning or animal husbandry

The Corn Dolly is famous locally for its tea; I like a traditional English cup of tea and that's what they serve here. It's not pretentious but it's just very good. I went here last Saturday for lunch with my wife. Great tea! But very odd mushrooms on toast. Everything was smothered with a very garlicky cream sauce which saturated... More

We have been visiting this tea shop for over 30 years on an irregular basis and I was so disappointed to see how this had deteriorated when we visited last tuesday. It has always been a treat when visiting South Molton and we have travelled miles to go there. The cappuccino that I ordered had to be sent back because... More

This tea room is truly a local Gem. The scones are to die for and come with lashings of clotted cream and jam. A serving of one of the home made cakes is also generous. The staff are very helpful and were able to cater for my daughter in laws gluten free diet and made her feel very special. Childrens... More

Friendly convivial coffee shop in centre of south Molton. A small narrow building on 2 levels, popular with locals.

Called in here to get out of a downpour and what a find! I have never been to a tea shop with so many brands of tea on offer, endless coffee pot being offered and cakes to die for. Interesting building too, would have liked to know more about it's history but didn't have time.
