Our local favourite

I eat here regularly. It does what it does very well. No pretensions. A reliable experience every time, the teas great and the kids love it. Prices are fair, staff smiley. Solid.

A return visit to an old favourite from some years past. Really pleased to say that it is as good as I remembered. Well filled sandwiches, fresh scones and wonderful cakes. Good varieties of loose leaf teas, all very clean and tidy. A gem of a place to eat.

We were recommended the Corn Dolly Tea Shop when we stayed locally for a holiday but unfortunately had never been able to try it out as three or four years ago they wouldn't accept dogs even in the garden. This time we left the dog with sitters as we were in Devon for a wedding and were surprised to see... More

Now that was what you call an omelette. Relaxed, easy going atmosphere. Good coffee. Well worth a visit for lunch.

A charming tea shop that serves more than just teas. Their lunches are highly thought of and people travel miles to get one, be early though as this is a popular venue that tends to fill up fast from 12 midday It is a quaint old cottagey place, the mushroom omelette with salad is scrumptious. The menu is comprhensive and... More

While i cant normally fault their cream teas, i decided to go savory last week with a Seafarers Tea (mackerel + salad + toast + a hot drink). Instantly my ordering went downhill. Wanted a latte (my usual) with it but only choice was the black crude oil otherwise known as the house coffee or the house tea. No idea... More

Stopped for coffee and cake whilst visiting the charming town of South Molton. Enjoyed a home made cookie and unlimited coffee and my wife had earl grey (proper leaf tea ) and home made treacle tart. Really friendly staff especially the lady who has a Collie dog! Free wifi that works. Well wort a visit.
