We got to this pub just before 2pm and they were very accommodating with lunch. Dogs very welcome in this pub and the food was excellent.

Had pizza to take out. Fairly long wait and pizza was horrendous. Toppings at £1 each was a joke - I could barely see them at all. Cheese was processed and slid off the base which was soggy and wet.

Nice village pub, friendly with good food; beers good too! Dog friendly, plenty of room, really good sandwiches and the sauté potatoes are excellent value for money. Having come from another local hostilely which didn't appear to want custom this was a very pleasant surprise.

The menu covers every occasion from the local fish, cooked superbly, to the beautiful Steak and Ale pie, ( with the best pastry ever ! ) to the gorgeous Bread... More

We popped in for lunch after a trip on the little railway. It was quiet when we got there, but soon got busier so it is obviously quite popular. Our food was lovely and our 2 year old was made to feel welcome. The interesting interior and Exmoor themed paraphernalia on the walls gives the pub a great atmosphere. We... More
