What a lovely unspoilt place. Beautiful setting with a river running beside it. Lovely food, we had evening meal and breakfast (the sausages were gorgeous). The room was very clean and had lots of little extras to, hot chocolate, bottles of water, tissues to name a few. For me the little details mean a lot. Comfy, quiet room with lovely... More

When I stopped by here with my husband, we were made very welcome by Jake and Cecelia, the owners. The ales were kept beautifully; crystal clear and delicious. The food was delicious, and we were absolutely stuffed afterwards! A warm cozy fire was burning throughout the evening, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. We shall definitely be stopping there again!

The specials board had great variety and the pan fried sea bream was delicious, as well as the Tiger prawn starter. All... More

Went with friends recently to this restaurant and was disappointed overall. Whilst the service was friendly the fish and chips was not brilliantly executed. The fish itself didn't seem fresh and the batter was not crisp. The chips and peas were fine but that's not the main part when you eat fish and chips. Put me off from returning. Prices... More

Food was good on our midweek (midday) visit. Not much of an atmosphere as very quiet. Beware the Rattler cider!!
