Attentive and polite staff

Despite the rather ordinary surroundings, this is a very decent restaurant with attentive staff eager to please.. The menu is wide. Food was tasty, though if you are used to the Indians of Sparkbrook on Birminhsm (as we are) you will inevitably be a bit disappointed. Plus:they gave us a free spirit... read more

Long wait for our food to be delivered (we were only 2miles away) but they did deliver to the campsite we stayed on. Staff were very friendly. Food was tastey but without much spice. Meat portions were very generous. We ordered 5 curries and received 2 free poppadoms to share! Naan and chapati were good. Food was very filling.

Having had this place recommended as a takeaway we had high hopes of enjoying some tasty food, but me and my wife were extremely disappointed at the time of eating, as well as me 2 days later recovering from diarrhoea after what I believe to be out of date or poorly cooked prawns / tandoori chicken. Was it the prawn... More

I went with my partner but we weren't sure because of some bad reviews but it was actually very nice compared to a few I've been too! I had chicken tandoori to start which was really nice. I had a chicken madras which was delicious and spicy just how I like it! The naan bread was also very good! The... More

Yummy food for my tummy. Me my partner and my children making a trip over to our favourite restaurant this eve, honestly I am counting the time. Buffet night, though my daughter will probably go for English food...lol. Get the table by the window ready boys. I soooo love this restaurant.

I thought I had made an error of judgement when I walked in and realised it was buffet night. I'm really not a fan of the buffet food. This wasn't an issue, as the a'la carte was also still on. Chefs special no2, with a side of sag paneer. Bhatura bread, and a beer. The main was like a combo... More

Was genuinely looking forward to eating here. The slightly unusual mix of Indian and English cakes and roast dinner makes a change...an Indian Restaurant and a cafe under the same roof is different and we were hoping for a nice Indian meal on this occasion. Generous size portions - yes. But from the outset there was a bit of doubt... More

Oh dear! I used to enjoy eating here. The staff used to be helpful, but either pour waiter could hardly speak English, or he just couldn't be bothered. Then 2 of our 4 dishes arrived complete with Rice. Even giant haystacks would struggle with these huge portions, which really spoilt our experience. All the frilly bits were fine, poppadoms, Naan... Four of us went there for a Saturday evening meal after wondering what it would be like as we eat Indian food at least once a week. Very disappointed. On arrival for dinner a tatty sign proclaiming "cafe open" was not a good start as we thought it was a restaurant. Inside a TV was blaring and pop music was... More
