In Buckfastleigh there is not much choice, I stay with friends regularly for a few days and always order take away delivered to home. The service is fun, food is generous and meaty, you get lots of free gifts with your order like poppadoms or a nice cold bottle of beer, I like it and my kids like it. I... More

We were regulars at the old restaurant in Buckfatleigh, the owner has now moved it to Queen street in Newton Abbot, food still great as ever, large portions, reasonable prices, friendly welcome and service from owner. Never had a bad meal here and will continue to visit. Try the Rajeshwari if you like spicy dishes.

Visited here on a midweek evening and had the set meal deal for around a tenner. This was a starter, main , rice and naan I think and was enjoyable if a little too much. The staff were friendly and upbeat, the food was a decent quality and I'd happily return at this price.

Its quite an ordinary place except for the mix of café food/Indian. Our party had a variety of dishes which we all shared and it was a very mixed reaction. Some dishes were fine others ordinary. Service was good and none of us felt as though we had experienced a bad meal but there was something missing from the overall... More

Drove past this place many times and never thought it looks that inviting. How wrong I was. Great service and fantastic food. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Long wait for our food to be delivered (we were only 2miles away) but they did deliver to the campsite we stayed on. Staff were very friendly. Food was tastey but without much spice. Meat portions were very generous. We ordered 5 curries and received 2 free poppadoms to share! Naan and chapati were good. Food was very filling.

Having had this place recommended as a takeaway we had high hopes of enjoying some tasty food, but me and my wife were extremely disappointed at the time of eating, as well as me 2 days later recovering from diarrhoea after what I believe to be out of date or poorly cooked prawns / tandoori chicken. Was it the prawn... More

I went with my partner but we weren't sure because of some bad reviews but it was actually very nice compared to a few I've been too! I had chicken tandoori to start which was really nice. I had a chicken madras which was delicious and spicy just how I like it! The naan bread was also very good! The... More
