the food at this restaurant has deteriorated over recent years. Last night hit a new low and we won't be returning. Food: stale poppadoms, greasy bread, undercooked naan, burnt salmon tikka, sloppy saag from frozen spinach, the beer was strangely weak(?) Service:very slow, rude waiter, no cutlery laid out for the main course. Other than that - all good!

We went here tonight for a celebration, the food was fantastic and so was the service. Polite and professional, highly recommended. 5/5 thank you

I had been here a while ago and it was very good but this time it was rather odd... The food was good as usual. Maybe not worth the £58 the meal cost however... I noticed that there were a few young-ish indian boys hanging around on our side of the bar, wearing tracksuit bottoms and on their phones. I... More

A friendly welcome, but it went downhill from there. The food was OK, no complaints there, but the service was slow. Drinks took ages to arrive and the second drinks order was forgotten and only arrived after a reminder. We will not be visiting here again.

I regret to say that this is not a positive review. Arrived 19:45, very friendly welcome, shown to table, offered menus and drinks order taken. Drinks arrive, food chosen, had to change one main course as not available - should have been told when menus presented - order taken. By 20:00 Poppadoms arrive. At 20:54 a different waiter asks if... More

We went on the "All You Can Eat" Wednesday buffet. It had a great selection of curries - some I'd never heard of but loved anyway! I would definitely recommend this as a good decent restaurant. The staff are also very attentive.

We pre-booked a table, when we arrived it wasn't ready, then we were shown to a table which wasn't laid. We didn't get serviettes or correct cuttlery, crockery at any point during the evening. It took ages to get a drink and a further 45 minutes to get popadoms, We eventually managed to order food, but our choice of food,... More

Very tired when I arrived I was quickly seated and made welcome. My order was taken speedily and my starter [samosa] arrived - it was still half-frozen. The vegetable biriani sauce was OK with a massive amount of rice which - inexplicably - was covered in shredded cucumber. More enterprising spicing of the food would be nice as it tended... More

We booked a table by phone for 3 people on 18/7/14. The call was made at 6:00 pm and the booking was for 7:00 pm. On arrival it was clear there was a large hen party booked in but we arrived and sat down before they had taken their seats. We ordered three starters and three main courses. After about... More

Probably the worst Indian I have ever had! Food was beyond bland, absolutely devoid of spices or taste. Voiced our disappointment to the waiter who muttered something to the "chef" (he was sat on a couch by the till) who looked at us with indifference, waiter then gave us a well practised speech about valuing our comments as it helped...
