Enjoyed ourselves at The Quayside Hotel Restaurant the other evening. As always the food and service were top notch. The prawn cocktail starters were excellent and they must be the best in Torbay. For a change we had the meat special which was Rump of lamb and again it was excellent and cooked exactly right. The homemade ice cream &... More

At breakfast we asked if the chef could prepare mackerel for my husband and sauteed prawns with garlic for me. He came and spoke with us, just to make sure of what we wanted. We booked a time and a table and the food was absolutely wonderful. Always great to get what you want, even when it isn't on the... More

Just come back from another excellent meal at The Quayside Hotel in Brixham. The restaurant open to non residents offers a wide choice of dishes and both a set menu and full a la carte. We always get a warm welcome and relaxing in the bar and lounge whilst your order is taken is a real treat. We both had... More

We followed another couple to this restaurant to eat for evening meal , got there about 8.30 and so plenty of tables , asked if the restaurant was fully booked , but the staff were quite blunt and said no and were no longer serving , it clearly says outside open until 10pm , very poor

We are extremely surprised that this would have happened at the Quayside Restaurant. Please double check that you have reviewed the correct Restaurant. If you are sure, please let us know the date you visited so that we can follow up. For your information there is no sign outside saying that we serve till 10pm. More

Lovely food, slightly pricey for what you got but very nice, would return. Took three children and did not feel out of place and they were accommodating of this.

We had been told that the food at The Quayside was very good, and we were not disappointed. Our meal on Saturday night was excellent, and where most places had no tables available we were lucky enough to have a table made available for us.Our main dishes were piping hot and the plates were to,which to me is a good sign of... We had another excellent dinner at The Quayside Hotel tonight. The starters of prawn cocktail/tian of salmon looked delicious and were exactly that. Our main courses of whole sea bass with a choice of citrus sauce/salsa & salad garnish were really outstanding. We also had side dishes of fennel & potato gratin/ mixed vegetables. Our desserts of cheesecake & panna... More

This was one of the few restaurants that was open on Sunday evening. It was a gem and so good we went back again the next night as we felt nothing else would be as good in Brixham. Indeed most restaurants were closed on Sunday and Monday in March!

We didn't stay at the Quayside Hotel this year, but did visit their restaurant again and it was as fantastic as before. Wonderful service and truly outstanding fresh fish was served, cooked and presented beautifully. The icecream selection for dessert is delicious also. Worth coming to Brixham just to visit this restaurant.
