A la carte menu. I had the duck in cherry sauce and my husband had fish and chips. Both meals were very tasty although it did irk my husband to pay so much for fish and chips. I had the raspberry panacota which was delightfully served as a flower in a brandy snap basket. My husband had homemade icecream which... More

Visited with the family for an early evening dinner. Food very good, although I thought a little on the expensive side. The seafood risotto is fantastic! The staff are really friendly and attentive, if not a little inexperienced in some cases, but that's understandable. We ate for just over £100 with wine.

We had a table for 7 and the group consisted of three generations. The menu gave each of us plenty of choice, even catering for my mothers lactose free diet. Every meal was beautifully presented and delicious. Simply outstanding! The service was efficient, friendly yet unobtrusive. They even went to the trouble of arranging a special desert with a candle... More

Enjoyed ourselves at The Quayside Hotel Restaurant the other evening. As always the food and service were top notch. The prawn cocktail starters were excellent and they must be the best in Torbay. For a change we had the meat special which was Rump of lamb and again it was excellent and cooked exactly right. The homemade ice cream &... More

At breakfast we asked if the chef could prepare mackerel for my husband and sauteed prawns with garlic for me. He came and spoke with us, just to make sure of what we wanted. We booked a time and a table and the food was absolutely wonderful. Always great to get what you want, even when it isn't on the... More

Just come back from another excellent meal at The Quayside Hotel in Brixham. The restaurant open to non residents offers a wide choice of dishes and both a set menu and full a la carte. We always get a warm welcome and relaxing in the bar and lounge whilst your order is taken is a real treat. We both had... More

We followed another couple to this restaurant to eat for evening meal , got there about 8.30 and so plenty of tables , asked if the restaurant was fully booked , but the staff were quite blunt and said no and were no longer serving , it clearly says outside open until 10pm , very poor
