This is our place of choice to eat whenever we're in Brixham, it's good honest food presented nicely, good choice, and sensible prices. In summer the outside terrace tables are the place to be with great views over the marina and out to sea across Torbay. If in Brixham it's worth finding....

Like most TA reviewers I had a look at recent poor reviews. Naturally nosey I guess. We have been visiting TheBreakwate Bistro for around seven years and do not know which staff might have been rude or grumpy. They are all helpful and ready to smile back. The food is normally pretty good and fairly priced. The fish is always... More

Fabulous, very friendly place to eat. They serve a great selection of food on their menue. The fish is caught locally in Brixham. Stunning views overlooking the sea. Great place to go to with its own little beach near by.

Spent a day walking around Brixham and came across this cafe in the late afternoon. The building is a bit of a mish-mash, which i would looks better in the summer. We were lucky enough to get a seat upstairs, a bit tight, but worth it. Firstly have to say the staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive. We just... More

Having been recommended by the Blue Anchor we were highly impressed. With a small dog in tow we received a very warm welcome and had an excellent lunch. Burgers and a roast chicken were in our order and three vegetarians were also well provided for. Very friendly staff and we will return - thank you.

Had a lovely lunch at Breakwater Bistro. We hadn't booked so turned up fingers crossed and were found a table by the very helpful staff. Had a really nice meal of deep fried brie + lemon sole fillets for Mother, moules and frites for myself. Both were excellent as was the wine to accompany, in a truly stunning setting right... More
