Afternoon Tea

I was lucky enough to receive a gift of afternoon tea at Moores recently and the whole experience was truly wonderful. The staff were very welcoming, the setting was very relaxing, the food was delicious and the waiters were very attentive. My friend and I left feeling very spoilt - thank you 😊

Decided to have some food and drinks with my Mum and eldest daughter today. Food nice, but waiter rather clueless. Mum ordered a mug of coffee, received a cup, told by waitress they don't do mugs, had to point it out to her from the menu. Took ages waiting for menus and had to ask to be served. Ordered chips... We had been turned away by 2 or 3 restaurants after unexpectedly finding ourselves without dinner plans on a Friday evening. This place could not have been more welcoming and friendly right through from the reception staff at the hotel who called up to see if they could accommodate us right to paying our bill. The sea food dinner was... More

Great place for breakfast or lunch, Annie the owner is always very welcoming to her regulars , have had less than perfect service from some of the staff in the past.

As a frequently used lunch destination I would recommend a trip here, whether for a leisurely afternoon or a quick bite. Annie Bichard runs the place with an enviable efficiency & always with a smile. A treat in the heart of St Peter Port.

A very good evening. Very impressed with many things: the choice of non-meat dishes on the menu; the fact that we don't drink wine is sometimes a problem, but here asking for beer/soft drinks seemed perfectly acceptable and also water was offered. The best aspects were the very attentive service and the presentation of the food we ordered was exquisite.... More

Arrived for a quiet lunch not overly busy in the restaurant, shown to a table and served drinks quickly, nice variety on the menu, staff very attentative and informed. Portion dived very good and food served very hot and nicely garnished. Just had the one course as it was a light lunch, could not manage much more after. Overall staff... More

Be sure to find this hidden gem in the heart of St Peter Port. Great for a tea break on a trip to town. Fabulous homemade cakes and pastries.
