We had a table on the patio at lunchtime, with a nice view on a sunny day. Some of the tables had shades for those who found the sun too much. The menu offered something different from the other restaurants in the town centre, for example spaetzle (a simple but tasty German pasta dish), potato pancakes, and pear, blue cheese and... More

Ate here as staying at hotel and dining options on a Sunday limited! So glad we did though! The staff were great and the food was wonderful, lovely evening which they rounded off by serving us our coffee in the lounge (though suspect this was because we were almost the last in the restaurant! )

Went here as a group of 60 for staff Christmas meal. Excellent choice of dishes on menu and good price. Starter of goats cheese gratin could have been double in size as was so yummy but was too meager. sorbet with strawberry nice, steak with pepper sauce excellent and cheeseboard was nice selection, with crackers and walnut bread. Coffee and... More

I never thought that you could dine at such a posh atmosphere at such a reasonable price with an highly acceptable quality. I enjoyed not only the quality of the food, but an outstanding service within the restaurant and prior to my visit when reserving by email (recommended). Go for it if you are couple and want a nice tête-a-tete.

Busy weekend nite, but service was very good and polite, quick but no way rushing. Food was lovely, one of the best venison stew I have eaten. Nice you can choose your cheeses.

Here on Guernsey for a few days holiday - an island I know from working for the Board of Health here some years ago. Came back to Moores to see if it was still good - we were not disappointed - excellent food - good service wonderful sunshine day - and to top it all they had an excellent singer... More

This is a great choice for an early bird dinner with a menu which changes daily. This evening the choice was duck, steak, sole and mushroom risotto. Starters/ Main/ Pudding and coffee for £17.95 is really good value, well presented and the waiters were attentive and very polite. We enjoyed our after dinner coffee in the lounge which had a... The Channel Islands always surprise me. Given their location so close to the french coast, you might reasonably expect some kind of cultural exchange with the mainland and that is to some extent true of place names and infrequently restaurants. Yet in some places both the food and the notion of service remains unremittingly English, in so many ways like... More

we ate here 9 out of the 14 nights we were in Guernsey. Food was excellent and reasonably priced.Good choice menu. All the food was cooked fresh , service was quick but this did not compromise the food. Staff were friendly and welcoming
