A great little place for food

We stumbled upon this place whilst out in St Peter Port (visiting Guernsey on business). The food was very good. I had the burger which came with cheese, onion ring and Dijon mayo. Service was quick despite being being busy and the staff were friendly. As it was night time there were not really any... read more

On entering the manageress immediately barked at us to ask if we were eating or having only a drink. On confirming the latter, she very brusquely advised that we could sit at the bar or at a small table at the back only - as they were very busy for lunch. So we thought, hmm not very welcoming, but fair... More

It was a very noisy occasion but having a room to ourselves we didn't really disturb any of the other customers unduly. The atmosphere was just right, the service excellent, permitting party games between courses, and the food was good

Nicely decorated bar / bistro on the top floor with excellent views over the harbour at night. However customer service wasn't a forte when we were there at 6pm on a Saturday - as we hadn't booked and only wanted a drink we were told we were only allowed to sit at the bar (the whole place was empty, and... I went for a tenner fest and the menu was fabulous and portions where great! My only negative thing was I felt a bit rushed as there was not really a wait in between courses!

Four of us visited The Crow's Nest Bar and Brasserie for lunch and ordered of the well-priced Tennerfest menu. For starters we had duck pate with orange butter, toasted brioche and onion chutney; deep fried brie with cranberry sauce and a combination of calamari and chorizo. All the starters were delicious. For mains, three of us had burgers and I... More

We visited here a couple of time during a recent holiday in Guernsey but just had drinks each time. The location is right on the sea front and offers interesting views across the harbour and towards the other Bailiwick islands. The drinks prices are reasonable for Guernsey i.e. expensive but what do you expect they are all millionaires and the... More

I had seafood linguine followed by chocolate brownie and my friend had the coq au vin and icebreaker. It was our last meal on a short break to Guernsey and we both agreed our best. Service was great. The staff very friendly. The view was magnificent. Definitely worth a try if in St Peter Port.

The view and the service are both great. It's let down by the food. I had a burger. The burger was very dried out, and the bacon too. The cheese was dry and plasticky. The bun was a cheap catering special. Most of the plate was covered in chips.
