A warm Guernsey welcome awaits you at the Old Quarter Restaurant from Paddy, Dana and the staff. This is honest, no nonsense food with a slight Irish slant as you would only expect from Paddy's home roots. The Restaurant prides itself on using as much locally sourced ingredients as possible; fresh from the land and the sea the taste of Guernsey comes out in every dish. Paddy and the team are keen to show off the best of what Guernsey has on offer each season and the menu changes to reflect this. Our cosy restaurant caters for parties up to fifty people, so whether its a business meeting over lunch or an intimate dinner for two we will always do everything to meet your expectations. We are also very flexible with our menus and happy to adapt to your needs where possible. You will find us at the centre of the Old Quarter among a mixture of antique dealers, art gallery's, craft shops, fashion boutiques and unique privately run shops of all types and descriptions. With its narrow cobbled streets it really is like going back in time to what most of the town of St Peter Port once looked like, but with a modern twist of quaint little shops. Any stroll around town is not complete without a trip up Mill and Mansell Street, why not cap it off with a light lunch or and early evening meal.

The reviews are accurate ++!

We decided to eat at the Old Quarter because of the reviews. Being tucked away, a local said he was walking that way and it was his favourite restaurant. (Thanks again, Lee!) There's no better endorsement than one from a local. The food is outstanding, the service excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

This restaurant was all we hoped it would be - the food was excellent, service was very good without being intrusive and the price was very reasonable for the well thought out and imaginative menu. We look forward to visiting again when we are next in Guernsey.

Despite being a bit tucked away this Restaurant is well worth a visit. Owner Paddy personally came out to go through Gluten Free menu choices and was more than happy to adapt dishes where possible. The Fillet Steak was amazing and the Veg risotto was one of the best I've had. Finished off with an excellent creme brule. Thanks for... More

On a recent visit to Guernsey with my Mum we wanted to sample a few different restaurants and venture out of our hotel. I noticed this restaurant on Trip Advisor, duly made a reservation and off we went. Unfortunately the Old Quarter area of St Peter Port seems to be deserted with lots of empty shops near the restaurant, apparently... More

I was on a cruise with my family and first found a bar,had a pint and we asked the bartender where can we get some great food. We were specific and said no tourist traps and where he would go for lunch...he sent us here. The outside of the restaurant is getting a facelift so we first walked past...but so... More

Just returned from a week on Guernsey. We ate at this restaurant three time. Spoilt for choice on the menu, excellent food, attentive staff without being intrusive. We failed to book for the Saturday evening but they managed to get us in, serve a meal without us feeling rushed and still apologised when they wanted the table back. Will definitely... More

Came here for their popular early bird menu - great value at £10 for 2 courses or £12.50 for 3 courses. Order pre 6 30. Well cooked food with good service. Desserts were a real highlight - Baileys cheesecake large and good kick to it! recommended.

The food at this restaurant is so constantly outstanding that it is almost impossible to get in unless you book well in advance, particularly at weekends. The Irish chef cooks an exceptional fillet steak and lobster surf and turf and his scallops are second to none. Highly recommended.
