A warm Guernsey welcome awaits you at the Old Quarter Restaurant from Paddy, Dana and the staff. This is honest, no nonsense food with a slight Irish slant as you would only expect from Paddy's home roots. The Restaurant prides itself on using as much locally sourced ingredients as possible; fresh from the land and the sea the taste of Guernsey comes out in every dish. Paddy and the team are keen to show off the best of what Guernsey has on offer each season and the menu changes to reflect this. Our cosy restaurant caters for parties up to fifty people, so whether its a business meeting over lunch or an intimate dinner for two we will always do everything to meet your expectations. We are also very flexible with our menus and happy to adapt to your needs where possible. You will find us at the centre of the Old Quarter among a mixture of antique dealers, art gallery's, craft shops, fashion boutiques and unique privately run shops of all types and descriptions. With its narrow cobbled streets it really is like going back in time to what most of the town of St Peter Port once looked like, but with a modern twist of quaint little shops. Any stroll around town is not complete without a trip up Mill and Mansell Street, why not cap it off with a light lunch or and early evening meal.

Best find of the whole trip

Just returned from a week on Guernsey. We ate at this restaurant three time. Spoilt for choice on the menu, excellent food, attentive staff without being intrusive. We failed to book for the Saturday evening but they managed to get us in, serve a meal without us feeling rushed and still apologised when they wanted the table back. Will definitely... More

Came here for their popular early bird menu - great value at £10 for 2 courses or £12.50 for 3 courses. Order pre 6 30. Well cooked food with good service. Desserts were a real highlight - Baileys cheesecake large and good kick to it! recommended.

The food at this restaurant is so constantly outstanding that it is almost impossible to get in unless you book well in advance, particularly at weekends. The Irish chef cooks an exceptional fillet steak and lobster surf and turf and his scallops are second to none. Highly recommended.

Six of us went for a fare well do. We chose from a very good menu and were soon served with a refreshing drink. Although fairly busy the food was soon delivered and we tucked in. Good sized portions that left only two people having a sweet, the rest of us just had a coffee. Good prompt service, excellent food... More

I wouldn't say that the food was anything special but it was good. The service was ok. There better places to eat in Guernsey.

We came following the good recommendations in Tripadvisor and we were not dissapointed at all. A very charming and quiet little restaurant in a nice street of the town. The food was very good and the service very attentive. The menu has a good choice of seafood and meat so suitable for different choices. Definitely a place to keep in... More

A colleague of my husbands recommended this restaurant to us so we went in search of it. It was a bit of a walk from our hotel and past a lot of closed down shops however once inside, it was amazing. The food was superb, from the complimentary pate that came with bread to the baileys cheesecake dessert. I had... More

My partner and I decided to eat in this restaurant after seeing the good reviews on trip advisor. We were not disappointed. The food was amazing! Superb quality and beautifully presented. What really made our day though was the early bird price- if you order before 6.30pm you can have 2 courses for £10 (mon-Thursday). We could not believe how... More
