A warm Guernsey welcome awaits you at the Old Quarter Restaurant from Paddy, Dana and the staff. This is honest, no nonsense food with a slight Irish slant as you would only expect from Paddy's home roots. The Restaurant prides itself on using as much locally sourced ingredients as possible; fresh from the land and the sea the taste of Guernsey comes out in every dish. Paddy and the team are keen to show off the best of what Guernsey has on offer each season and the menu changes to reflect this. Our cosy restaurant caters for parties up to fifty people, so whether its a business meeting over lunch or an intimate dinner for two we will always do everything to meet your expectations. We are also very flexible with our menus and happy to adapt to your needs where possible. You will find us at the centre of the Old Quarter among a mixture of antique dealers, art gallery's, craft shops, fashion boutiques and unique privately run shops of all types and descriptions. With its narrow cobbled streets it really is like going back in time to what most of the town of St Peter Port once looked like, but with a modern twist of quaint little shops. Any stroll around town is not complete without a trip up Mill and Mansell Street, why not cap it off with a light lunch or and early evening meal.

Food is excellent at the old quarter and the waiting staff are very pleasant and a good laugh! Food is mostly good, on occasion have had sub-standard food when with parties but mostly delicious!

Had a meal here a couple of weeks before Xmas. The turkey was cooked to perfection. I could not fault the food at all. All in all a very good meal.

we ate in this restaurant for the first time on friday 9th. We all enjoyed our food, the potted mussels were a delight and the sizzling steak is something i will go back for.

Had heard good things about this restaurant but sadly the experience didn't live up to expectations. The food was lacking in taste, was bland and un exciting . Such a disappointment. The service in General was good, but there was no ambiance and the whole place looked tired and in need of an update.

Just love this place. Set in the quaint Old Quarter of St Peter Port, up cobbled streets, it has such a good reputation. The staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The food great and you can see it being prepared. If if you want something slightly off the menu, Paddy is the man to see... More

One of the best in St Peter Port; great food, good service and a charming atmosphere. We really enjoyed the visit and came away pleased that we had made the effort to find this lovely independent.

The night we went it was packed and it is no surprise. We were lucky to visit during 'tennerfest' which most restaurants participate in during this season. For £10 we had two courses of superb food. The chef came originally from Ireland intending to stay one season but ended up settling here. Once he had death with the rush he... More
