A warm Guernsey welcome awaits you at the Old Quarter Restaurant from Paddy, Dana and the staff. This is honest, no nonsense food with a slight Irish slant as you would only expect from Paddy's home roots. The Restaurant prides itself on using as much locally sourced ingredients as possible; fresh from the land and the sea the taste of Guernsey comes out in every dish. Paddy and the team are keen to show off the best of what Guernsey has on offer each season and the menu changes to reflect this. Our cosy restaurant caters for parties up to fifty people, so whether its a business meeting over lunch or an intimate dinner for two we will always do everything to meet your expectations. We are also very flexible with our menus and happy to adapt to your needs where possible. You will find us at the centre of the Old Quarter among a mixture of antique dealers, art gallery's, craft shops, fashion boutiques and unique privately run shops of all types and descriptions. With its narrow cobbled streets it really is like going back in time to what most of the town of St Peter Port once looked like, but with a modern twist of quaint little shops. Any stroll around town is not complete without a trip up Mill and Mansell Street, why not cap it off with a light lunch or and early evening meal.

From the positive reviews on this restaurant we were most certainly looking forward to being able to finally see it for ourselves. However, the service we received was appauling for the get go. The front of house woman was incredibly rude and had a very sour face. The waiters/waitresses looked incredibly stressed and on edge. Food wise, it wasn't all... More

Hidden gem. Excellent quality of food and good choice, especially the seafood. Staff not that attentive but there was a big party of 10 in when we were there so that might be why. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent service and good food. This restaurant has a lot of charm and offers high quality choices for all comers. If a local, it should be on your preferred list; if visiting, it's not to be missed!

Tucked away at the back of town in the old quarter but well worth the visit. Reasonably priced, good menu and wine list. Excellent atmosphere, even on a quiet Monday evening. Four of us had different starters and mains, all good but the orange crème brule' took the gold star.

We visit the island quite often and had seen the reviews on this restaurant before, but we were frankly a bit sceptical. The restaurant is in a rather run down area of the Town well away from the waterfront which trys to project a more positive image as "Old Town". You will not find any of the other popular or quality... More

Chose this restaurant to celebrate my 30th birthday based on the online reviews and wasn't disappointed. My boyfriend and I both had starters - he had the smoked salmon and I had the flat mushroom with goats cheese, both around £6-7 each. We then followed with our mains. Mine - sliced duck breast on a bed of champ and a... More

We have a very high bar for eating out as we good a lot ourselves, but this place was brilliant! Great quality, home cooked food with decent portion sizes and lovely touches - definitely worth the cost in a pretty expensive town to eat in. Wish we could have gone back again but they were closed on Sundays!

Had 3 course lunch on a'treats' voucher. Excellent quality food, freshly cooked and decent portions. Nice touch of the proprietor coming over to ensure all well. Feltl the manner in which the waitress requested the treats voucher seemed a little derogatory. Pleasant relaxed lunch apart from that with good value wine on offer
